    Risk Manager

    THE JOB

    • Ensure that the company’s governance, risk management and business continuity management processes are operating effectively.
    • Champion the implementation of the enterpriser risk management framework across the company.
    • Lead the performance of the annual enterprise risk assessment process.
    • Analyse skills and understanding of risk management, risk appetite and risk governance.
    • Identify and report on emerging risk trends.
    • Establish processes are in place to facilitate the identification, measurement, assessment, monitoring, and controlling of risks in the company.
    • Provide management with practical, cost-effective recommendations for mitigating risks as discussed with business and process owners.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
    • Extremely proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.

    QUALIFICATION

    • First Degree: Accounting, Sciences or Engineering.
    • MBA, Professional Qualification.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5 years’ cognate experience.

    Head, Sustainability

    THE JOB

    • Monitors and tracks the company's environmental, social, economic and governance impact.
    • Continuously scans business operations and workplace to identify potential ESG issues that require improvement.
    • Works with diverse function owners to develop policies, plans and standards for improving environmental, social, economic and governance impact/performance.
    • Drive compliance by engaging with internal stakeholders, including employees, management, and board on strategies for building a culture of sustainability thinking and actions.
    • Oversee the tracking, monitoring, measuring and reports on ESG performance to business decision makers.
    • Lead and create awareness and other communications that educate stakeholders on what sustainability.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Superlative and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Thorough and current knowledge of sustainability practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
    • Ability to analyze and understand research and to identify relevant and valuable information.
    • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Degree/HND in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or other related fields.
    • Recognized Health & Safety certification is an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 8 years’ cognate experience in similar role.
