    Junior Quality Assurance Officer

    Job Overview:

    The Dangote Group is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Officer to assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols within our operations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in quality assurance, particularly in the manufacturing sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation and Analyzing of Raw materials, Intermediate and finished Samples
    • Interpreting result and taking necessary actions
    • Analysis and Reporting of Water Samples for both Plant and Power Plant Operation
    • Preparation of Daily Production Reports with respect to Power report, mines report, packing report and CCR reports
    • Monitoring and Controlling of Pile Chemistry to the desire target.
    • Assist in the Maintenance of ISO systems in the department
    • Working with the QCX. Blend expert Software to Optimize Quality Performance and minimize error
    • Inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective running of the laboratory.
    • Carrying out any other job as may be assigned

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
    • Knowledge of ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage but not required.

    Logistics and Operations Analyst

    Role Summary

    To support the Transport Operations team by ensuring effective planning, procurement, tracking, and reporting of workshop spares, and operational performance metrics. The role also involves providing analytical support to drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and process improvement initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently while delivering insights that enable informed decision-making.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning, procuring, tracking, reconciling, and reporting on workshop tyres, spares, and consumables to ensure timely availability and efficient usage.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Track, analyze, and report on key transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to enhance visibility and streamline reporting processes.
    • Support transportation optimization efforts by conducting detailed analytics and operational assessments focused on cost savings, process efficiency, and improved Transport management.
    • Actively participate in transport-related projects and process improvement initiatives, providing actionable recommendations to enhance operations.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of transport operations with overall business goals.
    • Provide timely updates and insights to management on transport performance and project progress.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the Transport Operations tea

    Requirements

    • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an analyst in a professional business environment, preferably within logistics or transportation operations.
    • Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and present findings.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
    • High accuracy in tracking and reporting, with a focus on delivering quality results.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
