    ALS Application Engineer


    Location:
    Port Harcourt, Rivers
    Job Family: Operations Management

    Job Description

    • Technical and Customer Focus
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Artificial Lift software and products and the field applications
    • Perform simulations and designs for Foresite, Jet Pump, ESP and Gas Lift to ensure product and services suitability
    • Respond to technical and commercial enquiries from customers
    • Support inside sales operations by creating quotes in line with the Product Line pricing strategy and maintain project documentation traceability
    • Review and support tenders for Product Line scope
    • In complex installations or when required, conduct site surveys, FAT, SIT, installation, and commissioning on site or professional flow labs
    • Follow up on installed systems and perform basic analysis on gathered application data
    • Travel as needed to support product sales, field installations and any troubleshooting requirements

    Qualifications
    Educational Background:

    • Engineering Degree required
    • Process/Production, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering degree desired

    Knowledge & Experience:

    • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in oilfield software application including land, topsides or subsea systems in technical capacity in relation to Artificial Lift systems
    • Strong knowledge of oil & gas process and production systems (offshore and onshore) – subsea production systems is an advantage
    • Healthy understanding of instrumentation and various physics based working principles deployed in oil & gas process and production industry
    • Demonstrate understanding of technical specifications from an OEM perspective for process instrumentation
    • Demonstrate understanding of customer needs and develop solutions
    • Must be comfortable to work in a range of service-based clients and Weatherford locations
    • Have a clear service quality and flawless execution focus
    • Carry respect and equal treatment for differences in cultures, gender, race and religions towards colleagues and customers alike.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong communications skills – oral and written
    • Resilience, self-reflection and adaptiveness to change within the scope of work is key

    Operations Manager - Tubular Running Services

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
    Job Family: Operations management

    Job Purpose

    • Manage the daily operational activities of the Unit’s core products and services.
    • Accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of a geographical district, including multiple bases. A district typically has a headcount between 50 and 250 and revenues between 50m and 150
    • Has responsibility for managing service delivery, operating results and personnel, business development, sales and functions such as accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, health & safety, and human resources.     • Recognized Management Qualification, technical qualification.
    • 5 Years in supervisory position.
    • Wrtten and Oral English mandatory

    Completions Field Engineer I

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
    Job Family: Field Operations

    Job Purpose

    • To be involved with onshore preparation and installation of Completion equipment.
    • Check equipment on location and maintain associated paperwork in-line with Weatherford and the Client Company polices procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice.
    • The Field Engineer is responsible for following all operational and procedural activities within his remit.
    • The role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of job specific processes as well as the safe and efficient utilisation of Weatherford equipment.
    • Liaise on location with the Operator / Client. Ensure that the daily report to town is sent and complete the sequence of events. To ensure that all job associated paperwork is handed in a timely manner including updating equipment asset folders.
    • Working in workshop preparing and redressing Completion related equipment prior to and after installations.

    Qualifications
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

    • University Degree in Engineering
    • Minimum of 1 year experience
    • Knowledge of rig systems and drilling/completion/production operations
    • Computer-literacy.
    • The ability to work in a team environment and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.

    WS Field Engineer I

    Technical Manager

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
    Job Family: Operations management

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate day to day field and shop operations
    • Work with the WS manager to ensure all field job requirements are met
    • Training field personnel when required
    • Coordinate repair & maintenance schedules to ensure ‘on-time’ delivery to clients
    • Involve in inventory and assets
    • Involve in shipping/logistics
    • Coordinate manufacturing and shipping of the same, both regionally and internationally
    • Coordinate invoicing, delivery tickets and all other paper work associated with invoicing the client(s)
    • Mentor applications engineer, field personnel and help the client in job procedures, technical clarifications, BHA drawings and when required quoting commercial proposals.
    • Coordinate with the BU managers across the region to ensure delivery and expectations are met on time

    Qualifications
    Skills & Knowledge:

    Essential:

    • Minimum 20 years experience in WS business and Oil and Gas industry
    • Capable of speaking, reading and writing in fluent English
    • Polite, hardworking, meticulous in figures and details, helpful and cooperation in areas of work, willing to take additional duties when assigned and well accepted among fellow colleagues
    • Willingness to learn new skills
