    BUDGET SALARY: N150,000 - N180,000
    Our client, a leading integrated and efficient downstream player in the Nigerian oil industry is looking to hire a Marketer with a minimum of 3 years working experience in the Oil and Gas sector.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    A marketer is responsible for creating an involvement chain between the customer and the product or service offered by the company. As such, they monitor market trends, create advertising campaigns, develop pricing strategies and targeting strategies based on demographic data and work with the company to develop more awareness of what they offer.
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Financial Analyst

    Our client, a leading marketer of refined products in the downstream industry is looking to hire a Financial Analyst with Five (5) years’ experience to analyzes the Company’s financial performance by collecting, monitoring and reporting data.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    As a Financial Analyst, you’ll be responsible for assisting and preparing timely and accurate financial reports to help drive profitability and results. The successful candidate will be highly responsible for accounting and internal financial support, reporting and analysis on projects/contracts, assist engineers and scientists in making business decisions to improve financial performance.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITY

    • Preparing and reviewing of financial reports and other required report and projections based on the analysis performed.
    • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections.
    • Coordinating, developing, supporting and monitoring the annual budget process to ensure that each major budget management task is properly planned and supported.
    • Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations.
    • Coordinating with other members of the finance team and also work with the CFO when required to review financial information and forecasts ensure accurate financial results.
    • Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, defining accounting policies and procedures.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • Proven 5years experience as a Financial Analyst or closely related field (preferably Downstream oil and gas sector, FMCG)
    • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
    • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
    • Vast understanding of the financial system and institutions.
    • Proven leadership abilities with outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skill.

    Cost Accountant

    Our client, an energy technology company mainly in the downstream sector is a provider of various oil chain activities including the distribution and retailing of petroleum product is looking to hire a Cost Accountant with a 3-year experience in similar role.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The cost accountant would be responsible for assessing the business expenses and preparing optimized budget plans, Including reviewing financial records, researching the market rate for key business costs and adjusting the company ledger to accurately reflect balance sheets.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collecting and analyzing data of the company’s operational costs
    • Setting of company’s standard costs
    • Developing and analyzing cost standards
    • Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis,
    • Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
    • Performing account reconciliations
    • Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management
    • Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
    • Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
    • Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books
    • Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure

     JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
    • Background in down stream sector O/G or FMCG
    • Certified (ACA, ACCA).
    • Strong financial background with analytical and numerical proficiency
    • Proficiency in accounting software
