    Head of Credit Sales

    Description 

    • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of digital payment solutions, personal and business banking offerings and savings products
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic agenda for Credit Department through balance sheet growth, Customer Acquisition, Customer retention, profit & loss targets in order to support achievement of overall business strategy; in a cost effective and high return manner.
    • The job holder will be involved in product development oversight aimed at sustaining the Bank’s competitive position within SME businesses.

    Responsibilities

    • To achieve and develop, lead the implementation of the SME Segment strategy in line with the overall Retail Banking Strategy; to ensure achievement of profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
    • To drive sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for the SME Banking through the creation, development and maintenance of high-quality advisory relationships.
    • To build and maintain productive and strategic relations with customers / suppliers / line manager /stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the SME Segment.
    • To drive customer-led propositions for the SME Banking Segment by developing a pipeline of value adding customer solutions to include customer experience, products, and service offers.
    • To ensure strong cross- selling of existing and new SME loan products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank.
    • Championing the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.

    Required Profile

    • University Degree in a Business related field.
    • An advanced degree will be an added advantage.
    • Professional Product Development or Project Management Qualification.
    • Financial Services experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years general banking experience with at least 6 years experience in the SME Sector 3 years of which must have been in a leadership position.
    • Must have hands-on experience in Credit Analysis &; Administration, Sales, and Relationship Management.

    Senior Product Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to support our Business API product at Vale.
    • As a Senior Product Manager - Business API, you will work closely with the Product Management Teamand cross-functional teams to ensure our Business API aligns with our overall business objectives and delivers value to our customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap for the Business API, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to define and deliver high-quality API products that meet the needs of our customers.
    • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist in defining and tracking key performance metrics to measure the success of our Business API.
    • Support the Product Management Teamin developing go-to-market strategies and driving adoption of our Business API.
    • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
    • Ensure the Business API adheres to industry best practices and standards for security, performance, and scalability.
    • Assist in maintaining API documentation and communicating technical changes to customers and internal teams.
    • Contribute to the development of a developer- friendly API marketplace to promote discoverability, ease of use, and adoption of our Business API.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the API ecosystem and share insights with the team.
    • Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure our BusinessAPI and related services comply with regulatory requirements and Vale's KYB/KYC procedures.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
    • 5 years of experience in product management, preferably with exposure to API products or developer- facing products.
    • Familiarity with API technologies, architectures, and best practices.
    • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
    • Passion for delivering high-quality products that delight customers and drive business value.

    Head of Sales (Management Level)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Salesto lead the initiative and execution of the organization’s short- and long-term strategies to create value for our stakeholders.
    • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of digital payment solutions, personal and business banking offering and savings products.
    • He/ She will work closely with the executive team, board of directors, and key stakeholders to grow the customer base, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
    • He/ She will lead the achievement of the global business budget in line with the parameters set forth by the Board and provide direction, advice and support to the CEO, colleagues, and staff to enable them make sound business decisions.

    Responsibilities

    • Leading in conjunction with the CEO and Board, the development of the commercial/business banking strategy
    • Ensuring the achievement of the annual budget as determined by the Board
    • Develop and institute strong integrity, high ethical standards as well as establish a goal/result oriented, performance driven and disciplined culture
    • Ensuring strict compliance with company’s credit policy and ensure NPL of below 5 percent
    • Ensuring the business is appropriately organized and staffed to enable it achieve the approved strategy
    • Ensuring full compliance with company/corporate governance code of conduct
    • Assessing principal risks of the business and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed
    • Act as a public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile
    • Ensuring that the CEO is properly informed so that sufficient information is provided to the Board to enable the Directors form appropriate judgements
    • Abiding by specific internally established control systems and authorities, leading by personal example and encouraging all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the company’s standards and policies
    • Ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory authority policies
    • Act on behalf of and perform any other duties that may be assigned by the CEO or the Board

    Educational Qualification
    The minimum entry requirement for this role is:

    • Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in any discipline. Possession of higher degree(s) i.e. MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years' cognate experience, of which at least ten (10) years must have been in the financial services sector and five (5) years in a senior management position.

    Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.
    • Must have experience in business development.
    • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and values.
    • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate a sense of ownership with high level of commitment.
    • Good corporate poise and visibility in the business network.
