Responsibilities

• You will design and build mobile automation tooling to support mobile engineering teams across the enterprise
• Engineer efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex mobile applications
• Work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering to deliver great user experiences
• Keep up to date with the latest iOS and Android platform capabilities
• Debug production issues across services at multiple levels of the stack
• You will identify areas to improve and scale our architecture and application design

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 6 years of experience in IT
• 5 years of software development experience shipping features to consumers using React or React Native
• 5 years of experience with RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate rapidly on engaging features (while squashing bugs) for the web app
• Help define the technical vision for the team, codebase and tooling.
• Improve the overall performance and quality of the web app
• Mentor and unblock other engineers on the team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with an expert level of knowledge with React, JS, GraphQL and their ecosystems.
• You also have some experience with full-stack development.
• Build well-tested and polished features quickly.
• You are able to identify when to make appropriate tradeoffs to ship quickly vs. when to take the time to do things right. Even in ambiguous situations, you can identify the most valuable areas to direct your energy.
• Experience tech leading small teams of engineers and mentoring junior engineers (nice to have)
• Communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities:

• Create standards and procedures for developers to follow
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts
• Code and implement automated tests
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements
• Analyse test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimize problems
• Work closely with product development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery of the project
• Keep track of quality metrics
• Verify that the final product meets the requirement
• Analyse product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, standards and regulations

Framework: 

• WebDriver with Java, Postman with Postman
• Also experience with Appium for Mobile is an added advantage
