    Cash Based Transfer (CBT) Officer

    Job Description

    • Facilitate community mobilization, meetings, and training before the redemption and cash-out activities
    • To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
    • Work with Project Management Committees (PMC) to ensure TCDI and WFP receive feedback from the beneficiaries on the project, including information on complaints related to food quality and the conduct of the vendors/retailers.
    • Coordinate sensitization of beneficiaries so that they are aware of project objectives, project modalities, entitlements, right to complain, complaint modalities, and redemption/cash out days.
    • Represent TCDI in the field with community leaders, local authorities, and other humanitarian actors. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, prepare minutes and reports and share with the Project Manager.
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of the Field Monitors, and by ensuring their presence in the field, keeping track of their attendance, submitting accurate information for their payment at the field level, and providing instructions to them on the planned activities
    • Build the capacity of the Field Monitors by regular training/coaching,
    • Coordinate and supervise the monitoring of monthly redemption and cash-out activities: conduct market price monitoring, conduct vendor’s price monitoring, shop monitoring, and ensure that beneficiaries receive their full entitlement and are treated with dignity and not taken advantage of.
    • Conduct monthly meetings with the vendors/agents to ensure that their activities are fully in compliance with WFP regulations, and represent beneficiaries’ interests in such meetings.
    • Timely report any irregularities to the Project Manager.
    • Prepare and submit timely weekly activity reports to the Project Manager.
    • Design monthly CBT work plan. Prepare and submit a monthly report on redemption/cash-out activities to the CBT Manager/Deputy Project Manager for their further compilation and sharing with the donor.
    • Exercise extreme precaution and confidentiality when handling the personal data of project beneficiaries.
    • Together with the SCOPE officer, coordinate the distribution of SCOPE cards to targeted beneficiaries.
    • Support the M&E team in the analysis of beneficiary data collection through the various tools that the department uses.
    • To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
    • Work closely with community structures to follow up on the implementation of conditional and unconditional cash transfer planned activities
    • Support the program team in facilitating the process of setting up the Complaint Response Mechanism at the Ward/ LGA level and handling complaint/feedback.

    Nutrition Officer

    Job Description
    Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager, the Nutrition Officer will carry out the following responsibilities:

    • Conduct Nutrition Risk Assessments at the community level in partnership with other stakeholders, during the course of the project.
    • To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
    • Supervise the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) staff.
    • Conduct capacity building and training of staff and CFM team on Nutrition-related thematic areas such as child Nutrition, GBV, Nutrition mainstreaming, and confidentiality of Nutrition data.
    • Provide capacity building and training to TCDI enumerators and community-based volunteers on the TCDI and WFP Code of Conduct and safeguarding principles.
    • Ensure that the “Do No Harm” and Humanitarian principles, Staff Code of Conduct, PSEAH, Nutrition and Safe Guarding policies are respected by all stakeholders.
    • Coordinate and develop activities for women-friendly spaces
    • Lead the Organization on awareness sessions and workshops on general Nutrition
    • Ensure the identification, management, referrals, and follow-up of Nutrition cases, with urgent needs.
    • Develop appropriate Nutrition key massages and IEC materials, and ensure that they are disseminated among the communities.
    • Disseminate relevant information regarding the rights of the person of concern and services available in the area in other to enhance access to services and rights.
    • Proactively seek to access people who have missed out on assistance, such as marginalized communities’ new arrivals or households whose situation has suddenly deteriorated
    • Ensure Nutrition is mainstreamed in TCDI/WFP programs in the field and workplaces.
    • Support and contribute to the field assessment, data collection and storage in a database, report writing, and sharing community feedback and concerns.
    • Report immediately any Nutrition breach during the implementation of activities to management.
    • Represent TCDI at Nutrition coordination meetings, both at the WFP and regional entities.
    • Coordinate and supervise facilitators during the session on women-friendly spaces.
    • To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
    • Ensure to carry out any other duties that will be assigned by the Programme Manager.

    Finance Assistant

    Job Description

    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor regulations.
    • Process payments, including staff salaries, vendor invoices, and field expenses.
    • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring they are organized and readily available for audits.
    • Support budget monitoring and tracking of project expenditures.
    • Ensure financial data is entered accurately in the system, and all supporting documentation is filed.
    • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements for submission to TCDI management.
    • Support in coordinating financial audits and implementing recommendations from audits.

    Scope Officer

    Job Description

    • Coordinate the registration of beneficiaries into the SCOPE platform for cash-based transfers and food assistance.
    • Supervise the Scope Registration Team, ensuring daily field activities are conducted efficiently.
    • Plan and oversee the distribution of Scope cards to beneficiaries and ensure data accuracy.
    • Conduct training for staff on the Scope system, focusing on efficient planning, coordination, and monitoring.
    • Prepare and submit project reports, including spending plans, procurement, and work plans based on approved budgets.
    • Collaborate with WFP to ensure compliance with beneficiary data protocols.
    • Monitor field activities, ensuring that staff adhere to safeguarding principles and program policies.
    • Assist in developing beneficiary databases, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
