    Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The monitoring and Evaluation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation framework of Sunbeth Global Concepts projects and Initiatives within the commodity sector. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess project performance and impact.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for projects and programs related to the commodities: cocoa, cashew, sesame, and soybean.
    • Design M&E tools, data collection instruments, and methodologies to track project progress and impact indicators.
    • Lead the collection, management, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to measure project outcomes and impact.
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
    • Conduct regular field visits and assessments to monitor project activities and provide technical assistance to project staff as needed.
    • Prepare and present M&E reports to internal and external stakeholders, including findings, recommendations, and lessons learned.
    • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to strengthen M&E capacity and promote learning and knowledge sharing.
    • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and project performance targets.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international development, economics, statistics, or related field.
    • Certification in Project Management and Rainforest Alliance is preferable.
    • Proven 5-7 years minimum experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the agriculture or commodity sector

    Certification Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The certification Manager oversees the certification processes for sustainable and quality standards within the commodities (cocoa, cashew, sesame, and soybean) supply chains. Work closely with farmers, suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Develop and implement certification strategies to ensure compliance with sustainable agriculture standards (e.g., Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, Organic) across the supply chain.
    • Coordinate with farmers, cooperatives, and suppliers to facilitate the certification process, including training and capacity-building initiatives.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with certification requirements and identify areas for improvement.
    • Liaise with certification bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the certification process and resolve any issues or challenges.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to certification activities and ensure transparency and traceability within the supply chain.
    • Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on certification-related matters, including regulatory updates and best practices.
    • Monitor industry trends and certification standards and requirements developments to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with market expectations.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote certified products and communicate the company's commitment to sustainability and quality.
    • Participate in industry forums, working groups, and conferences to share knowledge and best practices related to certification and sustainable agriculture.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, environmental science, business administration, or related field.
    • Rainforest certification is desirable; any other related certification is a plus.
    • Proven minimum of 5 years of experience as a certification Manager or in certification management, preferably in the agricultural or commodity sector.

    Community Development Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Community Development Manager is responsible for designing and implementing community engagement and development initiatives to support sustainable livelihoods and social impact within cocoa, cashew, sesame, and soybean-producing communities. Work closely with local stakeholders to identify needs, implement programs, and monitor outcomes

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Develop and implement community development strategies and programs to address socio-economic challenges and promote sustainable livelihoods within cocoa, cashew, sesame, and soybean-producing communities.
    • Conduct participatory assessments and stakeholder consultations to identify community needs, priorities, and opportunities for intervention.
    • Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community-based organizations to mobilize resources and support community development initiatives.
    • Facilitate training and capacity-building activities on agriculture, entrepreneurship, health, and education to empower community members and enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Manage community projects and initiatives, including budgeting, planning, implementation, and monitoring, to ensure timely and effective delivery of outcomes.
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, donors, and private sector actors, to leverage resources and expertise for community development.
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of community development programs, collect feedback from beneficiaries, and incorporate lessons learned into future planning and implementation.
    • Promote gender equality and social inclusion in all aspects of community development programming, ensuring equitable participation and benefits for all community members.
    • Document and disseminate best practices, success stories, and lessons learned from community development interventions to internal and external stakeholders.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in community development, international development, social sciences, or related field.
    • Rainforest Alliance certification and Project Management is a plus
    • Proven Minimum of 5 years of experience in community development, or as a community development Manager preferably in rural or agricultural settings.
