    Classroom Teacher (Primary School)

    Requirements
    We are looking for applicants with the following requirements:

    • You will need an approved teaching qualification (B.Sc or PGDE) in any field
    • At least 3 years of working with children in this category.
    • Excellent Knowledge of Phonics.
    • A good level of computer literacy
    • A clean medical certificate
    • A good understanding of blended learning.
    • Fantastic organization and teamwork skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience teaching with the British Curriculum is an added advantage.

    Head of Nursery School

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an exceptional and innovative educational leader to join our dynamic team as the Head of Nursery School. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in childcare, child safety, and protection, as well as a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
    • This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop our nursery provision, inspiring a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the nursery team: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team delivers high-quality care and education.
    • Develop and implement nursery policies: Ensure policies are aligned with the EYFS framework and promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
    • Safeguarding and child protection: Ensure the nursery is a safe and secure environment, adhering to child safety and protection policies and procedures.
    • Curriculum development and implementation: Develop and implement a curriculum that is aligned with the EYFS framework and meets the needs of our children.
    • Assessment and tracking: Develop and implement systems to track children's progress, identifying areas for support and development.
    • Parent and community engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider community, promoting the nursery school and its values.
    • Technology integration: Ensure the effective use of technology in the nursery, including the use of digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
    • Quality assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursery provision, identifying areas for improvement and development.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • Teaching certification: Qualified teacher status (TRCN) or eligibility for certification.
    • Experience: At least 4 years previous experience in a nursery school setting, ideally in a leadership role.
    • Child safety and protection training: Expert knowledge of child safety and protection policies and procedures.
    • EYFS framework: In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in a nursery setting.
    • Technology skills: Competence in the use of digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.

    • Leadership and management: Ability to lead and manage a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

    Head of Grade School (Team Lead)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a dedicated, innovative, and God-fearing Grade School Head Teacher to lead our grade school team. 
    • The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator and transformational leader with a strong background in curriculum design, digital and technology literacy, a deep understanding of both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricular, and a commitment to child safety and Christian values.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide academic and operational leadership for the grade school in line with the school’s mission and Christian ethos.
    • Oversee and guide curriculum implementation and development, particularly in English ,Mathematics and Science, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and educational standards.
    • Supervise staff performance through structured appraisal procedures, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.
    • Promote a school culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Integrate technology meaningfully in classroom instruction and school administration.
    • Uphold and enforce all child protection policies; ensure full compliance with child safety and safeguarding regulations.
    • Foster positive relationships among staff, students, and parents.

    Required Qualifications and Competencies

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
    • At least 5 years of teaching experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role at the primary/grade school level.
    • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula, with a specific focus on learning objectives in English, Science and Mathematics.
    • Sound knowledge of curriculum planning, lesson development, and assessment practices.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage teacher performance using effective appraisal tools.
    • Demonstrated awareness of child protection and safeguarding laws—candidates must have a clean record and be fully committed to upholding child safety.
    • Proficient in the use of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and school operations.
    • Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity, and excellent organizational skills.
    • Flexible, innovative, and open to continuous improvement and change.
    • A practicing Christian who exemplifies godliness in leadership and lifestyle.
