    Creative Designer

    Job Description

    • Sovereign Finance Company Limited (SFL) is seeking a versatile Creative Designer / Video Editor to join our growing team.
    • In this role, you will develop engaging visual content across various platforms to support our marketing and communication initiatives.

    Responsibilities
    Graphic Design:

    • Design high-quality visuals for print and digital marketing materials, including social media graphics, website elements, brochures, presentations, and marketing collateral.
    • Develop and maintain brand identity across all visual materials.
    • Collaborate with marketingand communication teams to understand design requirements and deliver creative solutions.

    Video Editing:

    • Edit and produce quality video contentfor various purposes, including social media campaigns, explainer videos, and promotional content.
    • Source and incorporate high-quality audio and video assets.
    • Manage and maintain video editing software and equipment.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Stay current with design trends and best practices.
    • Assist with photography shoots as needed.
    • Contribute to the overall creative direction of SFL's marketing efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a graphic design and video editing role.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing skills.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or similar software.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    Enterprise Risk Management Officer

    Summary

    • The Enterprise Risk Management Officer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across various Units of the Bank.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess the Bank’s core risk areas and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
    • Manage and monitor risk exposures across various units, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
    • Create, analyze, and disseminate risk reports and dashboards for internal control and senior management review.
    • Follow up on compliance issues and audit observations, ensuring timely closure and control remediation.
    • Review and escalate findings from customer complaints received via operation or CX , and support investigations in collaboration with the Unit Head.
    • Conduct daily transaction checks and exception reports, especially those related to GL postings, operations and loan disbursement.
    • Perform transaction call-over, quality control checks, and loan officer activity reviews.
    • Support the documentation and continuous improvement of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
    • Participate in periodic risk assessments and stress testing.
    • Carry out other ad hoc risk-related assignments as directed by the Unit Head

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • 3- 4 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, internal control, preferably within a microfinance or retail banking institution.
    • Familiarity with risk frameworks such as Risk Management Graduation Model (RMGM), and a strong understanding of CBN/NDIC regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in risk reporting, issue tracking, and operational control monitoring.
    • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
    • Strong ethical judgment and attention to detail.

    Content Manager

    Role Overview

    • The Content Manager will be the lead storyteller for the Group, with a mission to translate our established brand identities into engaging, high-performing content.
    • You aren't just a writer; you are a brand guardian who ensures our voice remains consistent across all platforms while using creative flair to capture our audience's imagination.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Creative Storytelling: Transform complex group-wide initiatives and technical data into human-centric stories that resonate with our target audiences.
    • Tone Alignment: Master the existing Tone of Voice (ToV) for each brand within the group, ensuring every piece of content, from a tweet to a whitepaper, is perfectly aligned with the established brand persona.
    • Content Execution: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality copy for digital and print, including blog posts, email marketing, video scripts, and internal communications.
    • Visual Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Designerto ensure that copy and visuals work in harmony to tell a cohesive story.
    • Editorial Management: Maintain a group-wide editorial calendar, coordinating with different department heads to ensure a steady stream of relevant content.
    • Quality Control: Act as the final gatekeeper for all outgoing communications, ensuring zero compromise on brand standards, grammar, and narrative flow.

    Key Skills & Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5+ years in Content Creation and Marketing, Journalism, Copywriting,or Brand Communications (Agency experience is a plus).
    • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with CMS tools (WordPress, Contentful), SEO tools (Semrush/Ahrefs), etc.
    • Adaptability: Proven ability to write for different industries and personas (B2B vs B2C).
    • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
    • The "Creative Spark": A natural ability to find the "hook" in any topic and turn it into a compelling narrative.
    • Meticulous Consistency: An eagle eye for detail and the ability to switch between different brand voices seamlessly.
    • Versatile Writing: Proven experience in long-form (articles/reports) and short-form (social/ad copy) writing.
    • Strategic Execution: Ability to take a high-level marketing brief and break it down into a creative content plan.
    • Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of how storytelling changes across LinkedIn, Instagram, Web, and Offline media.
