Job Summary

• Responsible for developing an in depth understanding of client business and marketing objectives and translating these into meaningful strategies that deliver against these objectives.
• Uses big picture thinking, storytelling, insights, criteria development tools and synthesis in the development of agreed-upon strategies that act as the foundation for the development of stand-out campaigns.

Main Areas of Responsibilities
Strategic Planning

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the Agency’s Clients’ business, the macro and micro-markets in which they operate and the specific brands we work on. Be able to understand, define and work towards answering their “central question.”
• Work with Client Service and Creative, as well as the broader SAMS (Strategy, Analytics, Media and Social Media) teams to develop relevant strategies, taking into account all communication disciplines.
• Work collaboratively with the Creative team to ensure that they create great work, aligned to the strategy and client objectives.
• Work with project teams on New Business initiatives and pitches when required.
• Develop and deliver effective, thought-provoking strategic presentations.
• Be able to engage with clients at various levels within an organization and be able to think on your feet in answering questions intelligently and relevantly.
• Be able to build a culture of collaboration with partner agencies in the interests of delivering integrated strategic reverts to client.
• Work with Client Service to produce and deliver regular brand reviews for each brand.
• Nurture a sound market and industry knowledge across the client base – local and international perspective.
• Nurture a culture of learning and development within the SAMS team.

Operational Management:

• Assist and mentor junior members of the team where required.

Financial Management:

• Ensure that purchases of materials and research is always pre- approved and within budget prior to acquisition.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of timesheets.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
• Identify opportunities resulting from strategic thinking, which could lead to increased revenue for the agency and assist client service in formulating documentation to sell this thinking in to clients.

Business Processes:

• Ensure continuous business process improvement within Strategy Department and across the SAMS team.

Experience / Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, relevant Communication and other related fields from a recognized institution
• Post graduate Degree and professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
• Proven track record of practical yet innovative strategic solutions to problems and/or challenges
• An extensive browser in all fields with an ability to draw on diverse experiences and sources of knowledge in providing insights
• A sound understanding of marketing disciplines, and knowledge of branding, brand positioning, and brand valuation theory. A deep understanding of digital, direct marketing and CRM is important.

Job Summary

• Data Analyst would work closely with our internal stakeholders to understand analytics needs, independently solve problems and communicate complex analyses with ease.
• To develop smart strategy recommendations, based on the data trends and act as a thought partner and domain expert on data, forming recommendations and driving decision making at Playhouse Communication.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources such as websites, social media, advertising platforms, and CRM systems. Use tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other marketing analytics software to track and interpret metrics.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights to share with internal teams and clients. This could involve creating dashboards or visualizations to communicate data effectively.
• Performance Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in marketing campaigns by analyzing data and providing recommendations to optimize strategies for better ROI. This might involve A/B testing, segmentation analysis, or performance forecasting.
• Market Research and Audience Analysis: Conduct research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitors. Use data insights to help shape marketing strategies and target the right demographics effectively.
• Campaign Evaluation: Assess the success of digital marketing campaigns, identifying what worked well and what didn't. Provide actionable insights to refine future campaigns.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data by performing regular checks and audits. Implement best practices for data collection and storage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different teams such as marketing, sales, and IT to gather data requirements, share insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Technical Skills: Possess proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Python, R, or statistical software. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is often beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Translate complex data findings into understandable insights for non-technical team members or clients. Effective communication of data-driven recommendations is crucial.
• Adaptability and Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and methodologies related to data analysis and digital marketing. Adapt to changing technology and platforms.

Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience with data analytics or other related field.
• Well-versed in SQL languages. Experience with big data frameworks preferred.
• High level of experience working with analytical software
• Experience working with presentation software
• Experience in digital strategies and logistics
• Experience in new and social media outlets.

Key Skills:

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create dashboards.
• Knowledge of statistical principles
• Intimately understand digital channels.
• Use of data aggregation tools required
