    Data Entry Officer

    Job Reference: PDEO2025011

    Job Description

    • Preparing and sorting documents such as invoices and receipts for data entry
    • Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
    • Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
    • Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
    • Testing new database systems and software updates
    • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check the output
    • Apply data program techniques and procedures
    • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
    • Scan documents and print files, when needed
    • Keep information confidential
    • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
    • Comply with data integrity and security policies.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND Accounting or related field
    • 5 years working experiences as Data Entry Officer preferably in Purchase
    • Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office (formal computer training may be advantageous in progressing in this career as good MS Excel skills is a must)
    • Ability to work to time constraints
    • Familiarity with administrative duties.

    Accountant

    Job Description

    • Collaborate with chief accountant and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks
    • Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
    • Create financial documents such as invoices, payables, receivables and purchase orders and payment vouchers.
    • Cash box handling.
    • Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking and correcting them.
    • Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors
    • Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and reconcile with the bank.
    • Create daily reports for management and team members.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
    • Carrying out other tasks that may be required by the management from time to time

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting from a recognized institution
    • Minimum of 5 years experiences as an accountant with reputable manufacturing companies
    • Membership of professional bodies like ICAN will be an added advantage
    • Ability to use any accounting software is an added advantage
    • Very smart with good communication and analytical skills.
    • Residing or willing to relocate to Ibadan.

    Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer

    Job Description

    • Developing Safety Policies by drafting and implementing safety policies and procedures in alignment with local and international standards.
    • Conducting Risk Assessments by identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risks associated with various tasks and processes and recommending control measures to mitigate risks.
    • Ensuring Compliance by monitoring adherence to safety regulations like OSHA, NEBOSH, or ISO standards and conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure workplace safety.
    • Training and Awareness by organizing safety training sessions for employees and management and promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within the organization.
    • Accident Investigation by investigating workplace incidents to determine the root cause and preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Emergency Preparedness by developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting drills to prepare employees for fire, chemical spills, or other emergencies.
    • Environmental Management by ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and managing waste, pollution control, and other environmental aspects of the organization

    Requirements

    • BSc in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum of five(5) years of cognate experience from manufacturing companies
    • Strong understanding of HSE regulations, policies, and best practices.
    • Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
    • Knowledge of hazard identification, control measures, and emergency response planning.
    • Familiarity with safety training programs and promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and compliance documentation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for maintaining HSE records and reports.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with teams.
    • Certification in HSE-related training (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is an added advantage.
