Job Description

Export Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our portfolios presence in the West African Markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, a proven track record of successfully identifying and managing distributors, and a deep understanding of export processes from Nigeria.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in the West African Markets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand SNL presence in target markets.

Distributor and Retail Chain Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential distributors and retail chains in the designated regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners.
• Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements to ensure optimal market penetration.

Export Operations:

• Oversee the export process from Nigeria to international markets, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline the export process.
• Resolve any issues related to customs, documentation, and shipping.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

• Set and achieve sales targets for designated international markets.
• Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional activities tailored to each market.

Relationship Building:

• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retail partners, and government authorities.
• Represent Sweet Nutrition Limited at international trade shows and events.
• Evolve effective advertising, pricing, and promotional strategies to achieve set objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in export management within the FMCG industry, especially in food and beverage products, across the West African markets.
• Minimum of 5years work experience as an Export Sales Manager
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
• Fluency is French is compulsory.
• Ability to travel as needed

• You will work with companies looking to develop cutting-edge commercial and research AI solutions.
• clearly express the reasoning and logic when writing code in Jupyter notebooks, or other suitable mediums. It will also utilize extensive data analysis skills to develop and respond to important business queries using available datasets (such as those from Kaggle, the UN, the US government, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science or Data Analysis
• 3+ years of experience working with Python programming
• A desire to have a significant impact on the field of artificial intelligence
• Strong data analytic abilities and business sense are required to draw the appropriate
• conclusions from the dataset, respond to those conclusions, and convey the key findings
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication abilities to work with stakeholders and researchers successfully
• Fluent in conversational and written English communication skills
