What You Will Do

• Install and configure automated machinery and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Document maintenance activities and system modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during equipment upgrades and installations.
• Monitor system performance and propose improvement
• Train operators and/or other colleagues on automated systems
• Participates in problem-solving and plant performance improvement activities.
• Perform mandatory quality testing/checks and complete all related documentation.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Holder of HND / BSc in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience within the confectionery industry.
• Level 3 PVM Safety Awareness knowledge.
• Basic awareness of Good Manufacturing rules in a Food processing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Passionate to support equipment reliability KPIs.
• Good housekeeping practices (GHK) and plant discipline mindset
• Proven strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
• Excellent Team work attitude.
• Prepared to work on Shift rotation.

What You Will Do

• Serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to Functional Heads. 
• Oversee  end-to-end recruitment process , working with line managers to ensure approved headcount is timely filled.
• Actively participate in the preparation of HR budget.
• Develop and/or update Job Descriptions for Job roles in alignment with approved organization structure.
• Manage and facilitate induction and on-boarding process of new employees.
• Drive Annual Goal setting, Mid-Year and End-of-Years Performance Management Process.
• Prepare annual Training calendar in alignment with training needs and performance gaps.
• Manages end-of-service process for outgoing staff.
• Lead engagment initiatives and activities.
• Supervise activities of 3rdP Labour providers to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Holds HND / BSc in Business/Social Science related studies.
• Master’s Degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
• Certified member of CIPM-Nigeria or other recognized HR certification Institution.
• 10 - 12 years relevant experience, with at least, 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading an agile team.
• Experience, leading/or actively participating in culture change initiatives.
• Agile, Self-driven, passionate and result oriented.
• Proven experience in employee/industrial relations and union negotiation.
• Excellent people/stake-holder management skills.
• High level of flexibility and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to Continuous Improvement.
