    Health & Safety Officer - Shift

    Location: Ogijo & Papalanto Ogun

    Responsibilities

    • Policy Development:
    • Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies and procedures to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Communicate policies and procedures to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.

    Risk Assessment:

    • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
    • Analyze accident and incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Training and Education:

    • Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
    • Keep abreast of industry best practices and changes in regulations to ensure training content is up-to-date.

    Emergency Preparedness:

    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
    • Coordinate drills and exercises to ensure employees are prepared for emergencies.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay current with health and safety legislation and regulations.
    • Ensure the organization\'s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

    Investigations:

    • Conduct investigations into accidents, near misses, and other safety-related incidents.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of investigations and corrective actions.

    Safety Culture Promotion:

    • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
    • Encourage employee involvement in safety initiatives and programs.

    Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and implement improvements.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders as needed.

    Requirements

    • HND/Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or similar role.
    • Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work on shifts including Saturdays.

    Electrical Engineers and Technicians – Industrial Solar Power Plant

    Location: Agbara, Ogun

    Purpose of the Job

    • To carry out solar installation and maintenance services in order to enhance productivity for the company and its clients.

    The Job

    • Carry out solar installations and maintenance services for industries. 
    • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning solar equipment and appliances.
    • Conduct comprehensive maintenance and attend to breakdown issues.
    • Carry out Solar inspection tasks and submit reports to the supervisor to ensure production effectiveness.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
    • Carry out planned maintenance on Solar Systems to ensure efficient operation.
    • Respond to emergency repair calls to avoid interruption in operation.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an OND / NABTEB, WAEC certificate in Technical, Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
    • Thorough knowledge of Solar systems.
    • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Have excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
    • Be self-motivated and able to work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Be observant and detail-oriented.
    • Must be willing and ready to travel at any point in time. 
    • Ideal Candidates will be resident in Agbara, Ogun State or willing to relocate to Agbara at their own expense.

    Solar Panel Installers - Agbara

    Job Description

    • As a Solar Panel Installer, you would be expected to carry out solar installations on high and low surfaces (as applicable) areas; carry out appropriate sunlight intensity readings; ensure proper structural alignment, and prevent water leakages where possible.
    • You would report directly to the Site System Engineer.
    • Assist Solar Technicians in assembling, installing, or maintaining solar systems on uneven terrain, roofs, or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics
    • Participate in all safety-related processes and programs as requested
    • Ability to set up a 32′ ladder and make use of essential hand tools
    • Understand Voltage/amperage/ohms meter
    • Have basic electric and wiring knowledge
    • Willing to work weekends and able to work on roofs.

    Requirements

    • Must possess a First School Leaving Certificate (ND, HND, B.Sc are an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 3 years experience.
    • Must be fluent in English language.
    • Ideal Candidates will be resident in Agbara, Ogun State or willing to relocate to Agbara at their own expense.
