PalmPay is seeking dynamic and results-driven Business Developers to join our Pay with Transfer (PWT) team in Benin City. This role is key to driving growth, increasing adoption of the PWT service, and strengthening relationships with merchants and agents.

Responsibilities:

• Prospecting and Merchant Acquisition:Identify and onboard quality merchants and agents suitable for the Pay with Transfer (PWT) service.
• Deployment of PWT Materials:Distribute and set up PWT account posters at merchant locations to ensure seamless transactions.
• Educating and Training:Provide comprehensive guidance to merchants on the benefits and functionalities of PWT to drive adoption and usage.
• Relationship Management:Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants and agents, ensuring satisfaction and continued support.
• Performance Monitoring:Track and report on merchant onboarding progress and PWT service adoption to achieve assigned targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a goal-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with the local market and merchant network in Edo State is a plus.

Compensation:

• Salary: ₦50,000 basic + ₦20,000 transportation allowance.
• Commission: N0 – N100,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
   • Assist in researching and identifying potential clients and partners within the ATM card services market.
   • Support senior team members in generating leads through market research and outreach efforts.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   • Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
   • Provide excellent customer service to build rapport and foster loyalty.
3. Sales Support:
   • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
   • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product information for client meetings.
4. Market Research and Insights:
   • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities related to ATM card services.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to senior team members based on research findings.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure the smooth execution of business development initiatives.
   • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to relay information and updates.
6. Learning and Development:
   • Take part in training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of ATM card services, sales techniques, and the financial industry.
7. Administrative Tasks:
   • Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress towards goals.
   • Prepare reports and updates for senior team members as required.
