Requirements

• Are you aged 26 or younger?
• Are you a Nigerian citizen?
• Have you achieved a minimum 65% average in your final year (across all subjects)?
• Have you completed and/or in your final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate University Degree in the following disciplines: BSc Information system, BSc (Honours) Information systems, BSc in IT systems, BSc Computer Science, HND Computer Science, Degrees with Technology modules, Diploma in IT (3 years), Advanced Diploma in IT

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages would be advantageous - Java, C#, C++, HTML, Python

Individually accountable for establishing a compliance framework; including Risk Management and Monitoring plan. Embeds compliance, directly and/or through staff supervised over periods of 3 months to a year. Initiates and facilitates corrective action where required

Descriptor

• Establishes and embeds compliance in area of responsibility.
• Ensures compliance within area by implementation of compliance risk management and monitoring plan.
• Reports on compliance breaches to line management and Senior Compliance Officer/Compliance Executive.
• Facilitates resolution of compliance breaches.
• Assists in mitigation of compliance risk.
• Reports to the Senior CO (in functional area), or, if responsible for compliance in a less complex business unit, reports to business head with strategic direction from Compliance Executive.
• Influence is limited to specific assigned functional area or less complex BU.
• Utilises limited legislation, and impact of legislation on the BU/functional area is limited.

Key Result Areas

Compliance:

• Ensures compliance within area by implementation of compliance risk management and monitoring plan, as well as through staff supervised, over periods of up to 3 months.
• Reports on compliance breaches to line management and Senior Compliance Officer/Compliance Executive.
• Facilitates resolution of compliance breaches.
• Assists in mitigation of compliance risk.
• Assists in mitigation of compliance risk.
• Utilises limited legislation and in all probability, the impact of the legislation on the business unit/functional area is limited.
• Assists the GM Finance / Risk Executive with the effective co-ordination and execution of the quarterly audit, risk and compliance for the segment.
• Challenges and escalates (within the defined escalation framework) where deemed appropriate.
