    Supply Chain Manager

    General objective

    • To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the organisation’s end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, demand and supply planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement, ensuring reliable service delivery, cost optimisation, compliance, and business growth.

    Responsibilities and Task
    Leadership & Supervision:

    • Develop and execute the organisation’s end-to-end supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction for procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities.
    • Lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
    • Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality, service, compliance, and delivery standards.
    • Establish governance for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, supplier onboarding, and procurement approvals.
    • Monitor market trends, supply risks, and supplier performance to support timely decision-making and business continuity.

    Supply Chain & Logistics Management:

    • Oversee integrated supply chain operations from suppliers through to internal customers and final delivery points.
    • Lead transportation, distribution, import/export coordination, and logistics service provider management.
    • Ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and services.
    • Develop contingency plans to identify, mitigate, and respond to supply chain disruptions.
    • Optimise supply chain processes to improve lead times, service levels, working capital, and operational costs.

    Inventory & Warehouse Management:

    • Set inventory strategy, stock policies, reorder levels, and warehouse performance standards.
    • Ensure accurate inventory records, regular cycle counts, and periodic stock audits.
    • Maintain optimal stock availability while minimising stock-outs, overstocking, obsolescence, and carrying costs.
    • Drive implementation and effective use of inventory, warehouse, ERP, and reporting systems.
    • Ensure proper handling, storage, traceability, safety, and security of materials.

    Financial & Contract Management:

    • Prepare, manage, and control supply chain budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement plans.
    • Track procurement savings, cost avoidance, working capital impact, and value-for-money initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Finance on payment schedules, supplier reconciliations, landed cost analysis, and budget performance.
    • Ensure effective contract administration, commercial risk control, and compliance with agreed terms and service levels.

    Team Leadership & Performance Management:

    • Lead, develop, and hold accountable procurement, logistics, warehouse, inventory, and supply chain team members.
    • Define team structure, roles, objectives, KPIs, and performance standards.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Coach, mentor, and build the capability of the supply chain team to support current and future business needs.

    Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

    • Prepare executive-level supply chain performance reports, dashboards, and management updates.
    • Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs covering cost, service, supplier performance, inventory, delivery, risk, and compliance.
    • Support internal and external audits, management reviews, and corrective action plans.
    • Drive continuous improvement, process standardisation, digitalisation, and data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.

    Requirements

    • Education Degree – Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Work experience – 5 – 7 years progressive experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain roles within the organization.
    • Language skills – English.
    • Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook

    Other required skills:

    • Strong understanding of internal procurement procedures, supply chain systems, operational requirements, and compliance standards.
    • Proven record of integrity, leadership, cross-functional collaboration, performance delivery, and readiness for a senior management role.

    Warehouse Manager

    General Objective

    • The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all warehouse activities at NutriK FZE, ensuring the safe, hygienic, and efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, and finished food products in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities and Task

    • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
    • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene rules, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO principles for raw materials and finished goods
    • Coordinate with Production to ensure uninterrupted material availability
    • Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, and ensure productivity and discipline
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
    • Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, expiries, and losses
    • Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness)
    • Manage warehouse layout, space optimization, and material flow
    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools
    • Enforce health, safety, and security rules within the warehouse
    • Prepare and submit warehouse reports (stock status, consumption, variances)
    • Coordinate with transporters for timely delivery of finished goods
    • Participate in internal and external audits (quality, food safety, compliance).
    • Any other responsibilities assign by line manager.

    Requirements

    • Education degree – Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or related field.

    Maintenance Manager

    Description

    • To strengthen our growing operations in Kano, NutriK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Production Department.

    Overall Mission
    General objective:

    • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure that production equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
    • The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, cost control, spare parts management, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.

    Responsibilities and Tasks
    Leadership & Supervision:

    • Supervise, lead, and coordinate all maintenance processes and operations.
    • Allocate work assignments, set repair schedules, and balance priorities while adhering strictly to deadlines.
    • Maintain constant communication with area leaders to align maintenance activities with production needs.
    • Ensure all maintenance personnel strictly follow safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Maintenance Planning & Execution:

    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs.
    • Plan and manage all repair, installation, and routine maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities.
    • Ensure all machinery operates at required safety and performance standards.

    Budgeting & Cost Control:

    • Monitor raw material price movements and advise management on cost risks, buying opportunities, and procurement timing.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative sourcing, supplier competition, substitution, consolidation, bulk buying, and improved payment terms.
    • Develop supply risk mitigation plans, including dual sourcing, safety stock strategies, alternative supplier readiness, and contingency procurement plans.
    • Support landing cost analysis for imported materials, including freight, customs, clearing charges, duties, insurance, and foreign exchange exposure.

    Spare Parts & Inventory Management:

    • Oversee equipment and spare parts inventory.
    • Manage spare parts stock levels to ensure availability while avoiding overstocking.
    • Initiate and monitor orders for replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies as needed.

    Continuous Improvement & Engineering Support:

    • Contribute to improved equipment design and manufacturing processes.
    • Support engineering and production teams by providing maintenance expertise and recommendations for reliability improvements.
    • Encourage best practices and standard maintenance procedures across the department.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Document daily maintenance activities, progress updates, and equipment status.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage data.
    • Provide performance reports highlighting downtime analysis, cost savings, and preventive maintenance effectiveness to management.

    Required Skills

    • Education degree – Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Work experience – 5 – 7 years relevant experience in maintenance management or senior maintenance supervision in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

    • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or stock management system
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
    • Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, or losses
    • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and pest‑free conditions at all times
    • Implement and enforce warehouse safety rules and procedures
    • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff performance
    • Prepare warehouse reports (stock levels, expiries, movements, and KPIs)
    • Coordinate with Logistics for timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods
