    Pricing Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Provide pricing/margin analysis and decision support across West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire) towards achieving target GP and EBITDA margin
    • Coordinate profitability of relevant sales contracts to ensure aggregate weighted price erosion does not exceed budget
    • Support the quarterly price review initiative by driving the market intelligence gathering monthly and quarterly
    • Perform costing approval of all standard and complex connectivity solutions on Salesforce
    • Perform costing approval of all standard and complex cloud solutions on Salesforce
    • Perform costing approval of all standard colocation solutions on Salesforce
    • Maintain daily tracker/pricing report for all pricing proposals issued and update pricing database weekly
    • Monitor exchange rate daily movement and advise relevant teams for customer facing transactions (billing, technical sales e.t.c)
    • Ensure daily update of rates tables for the connectivity pricing tool on Salesforce
    • Support the pricing function with innovation, intelligence and new perspectives

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting or any numerate course
    • Five (5) years relevant experience in commercial management, pricing, financial planning or bid management role with at least two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role

    • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Skilled in basic and intermediate excel formula)

    Manager, Product Development

    Responsibilities

    • Person will be responsible for managing Products for Carrier Services, Equinix Collocation services sold under MainOne Portfolio and Interconnect Services.
    • Carrier Services will include Wholesale, Enterprise and SME/SOHO services but will exclude Cloud Services. 

    Product Development & Performance:

    • Launch new products and optimize existing ones to achieve financial targets. Manage the product development process, from opportunity assessment to launch, ensuring timely execution and alignment with objectives.
    • Develop and secure necessary approvals for concept documents, service descriptions, marketing collateral, and project plans.
    • Provide product sales forecasts, capacity utilization insights, and demand projections for informed decision-making. Conduct monthly/quarterly product performance reviews and share results, insights and recommendations with management.
    • Complete detailed briefs for Marcoms, outlining product marketing requests and strategies.
    • Collaborate with Marcoms to develop go-to-market plans and communication strategies for product launches Coordinate meetings with stakeholders to discuss and address product issues.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on product pipeline status, marketing activities, and performance. 
    • Conduct quarterly reviews of the product lifecycle, determining retention, enhancement, or withdrawal strategies as needed.

    Market Intelligence & Analysis:

    • Conduct market scans to identify trends and opportunities for new product development based on evolving customer needs.
    • Oversee the product innovation process to keep MainOne at the forefront of new market opportunities.
    • Manage the product roadmap to ensure a constant influx of new products that meet customer needs.

    Engagement & Support with Sales/Marketing Team:

    • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to new and existing customers.
    • Track product complaints, bugs, and defects, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
    • Involve customers in proof of concept and prototype testing for new products.
    • Set up recurring meetings with sales/marketing teams to review the product pipeline, marketing activities, and sales requirements/issues.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration among internal stakeholders to drive product performance and adoption by customers

    Product Pricing:

    • Work with the Pricing Team to determine competitive and profitable price books for all products.
    • Provide margin analysis to justify price discount requests from Sales and conduct regular price review exercises for the customer base.
    • Monitor Product Input Cost and give inputs to Pricing Team for pricing adjustments if Product profitability is impacted. 

    Partner Management:

    • Manage relationships with 3rd party partners to maximize benefits and value for MainOne.
    • Responsible for management of AMSIX platform and partnership with AMSIX. 

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology
    • At least 7 years’ experience in Telecom or the ICT industry with 3 – 4 years’ experience in product development
    • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the technology or data centre industry.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of driving product performance and revenue growth.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of telecom, data centre products, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements and industry events.
    • Certification in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing Certified, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

    Cloud Network & Security Engineer

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Management or related Engineering field is preferred
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as Network and Security Administration/Engineer.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Virtualization and Cloud Technology CCNP Certification is required, Microsoft and AWS certification will be an added advantage.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Experience working with large-scale networks. Experience working with Linux/Windows Operating System.
    • Experience with virtualization and Cloud technologies Excellent network latency analysis, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting skills Assist in development of network device hardening standards Good automation scripting ability (Bash/Shell, Python, PowerShell) Experience with Ethernet and IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
    • Knowledge and experience with major Internet routing protocols, network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.

    Technical Support Intern (SME)

    Responsibilities
    The Technical Support Intern will be responsible for the following functions:

    • Configure, test and provision customers on CRM platform.
    • Coordinate 3rd party installation and support activities.
    • Assign new requests/opportunities captured from MainOne website. Run weekly reports on incidents – opportunities and complaints. Network management and monitoring. Perform 1st level fault troubleshooting tasks.
    • Liaise with OEM to resolve technical related issues. Liaise with vendor(s) for customer installations.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams. Critically analyze customer complaints and issues with a bid to providing lasting solution.
    • Continually drive customer satisfaction through speedy resolution of complaints.

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • BSc / HND in a relevant study. 
    • Excellent communication skills. Multitasking skills. CCNA will be an advantage. Previous experience in a similar position is an added advantage. 

    Demands of the Job:

    • Required to communicate constantly with customers to understand requests, complaints and follow up until issues are resolved.
    • May be required to stay after office hours. Job requires a lot of patience, and exemplary communication skills.
