Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced REA Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage rural electrification and solar installation projects under the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, supervising, and commissioning solar energy systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise REA (Rural Electrification Agency) Solar Installation projects, ensuring timely execution.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other project-related documentation.
• Design solar system projects for efficient energy generation and distribution.
• Develop work plans to optimize energy distribution and sustainability.
• Oversee maintenance and rehabilitation of solar facilities.
• Report directly to the Senior Electrical Engineer and provide regular project updates.
• Commission completed projects and prepare all necessary commissioning documents.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and project teams on both ongoing and new projects.
• Train new employees and ensure adherence to best practices in electrical engineering and renewable energy solutions.
• Attend project, interface, bid, and contract meetings as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and project management.
• Strong expertise in renewable energy projects, including solar mini-grids and solar farm installation.
• Proven experience in rural electrification and electrical installation project management.
• Hands-on experience in power generation, distribution, maintenance, and rehabilitation.
• Must possess Electrical Safety Certification and AutoCAD training.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with relevant engineering software.
• NEMSA (Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency) or COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) certification is an added advantage.
• Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work in rural and remote areas while managing multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Edit and enhance images and videos using Adobe Photoshop (or similar software).
• Process newly arrived products, including creating tags and writing engaging product descriptions.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual content.
• Stay up-to-date with current fashion and social media trends.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and content planning.
• Work onsite and full time.
