    Lubrication Technician

    About the Job

    The primary objective of Lubrication technician is to lubricate plant equipment and ensure lubrication =units are in good working condition to improve the plant performance and reliability.

    What you'll be doing

    • Responsible for the lubrication of all the plant equipment
    • Records some possible anomalies observed on the equipment while lubrication is being carried out
    • Monitor the stock of Lubricants and inform the Lube Supervisor weekly.
    • Records the consumption of oils and greases dispensed
    • Maintain good house-keeping and safety around lubrication environment premises
    • Safe storage and disposal of used/dirty rags

    Key interfaces, stakeholders and relationships

    • Lubrication Foreman
    • Inspector, Planner
    • Execution
    • Area Manager
    • Shift Leader

    Requirements

    • UCDI,NTC/NBC-NABTEC or ,N.D in Mechanical Engineering of advantage with 2 years working experience in same industry or any heavy industry operations
    • Minimum 1-5 years’ experience in heavy Engineering, including rotating machines. Equipment maintenance, condition monitoring, in a refinery, power or heavy process plant
    • Very conversant with cement plant equipment.
    • Good understanding of technical standards and lubrication applications.

    Machinist

    Ensures that all fabrication, welding and any other jobs assigned to him / team are carried out to the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.

    What you'll be doing 

    • Fabrication of any required components 
    • To execute pre-planned, predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plants and equipment in accordance with Lafarge designed maintenance procedure and technical regulations and to keep effective documentation assigned jobs.
    • To maintain good and safe housekeeping during and after work or job execution.
    • Enforce safety regulations according to company standards, reports near misses in area.
    • Transfer understandable work instructions from N+1 to subordinates.
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned by N+1 OR HOD.
    • Keeping record for any activities under his responsibilities and reported daily /weekly.
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
    • Diagnosing faults.

    Requirements

    • OND Mechanical Engineering, NABTEB and City and Guilds
    • At least 3 years experience in the use all workshop machines and tools.
    • Ability to use workshop machines and tools to reproduce spare parts
    • Able to develop shapes from drawing
    • Good welding and metal joining practice
    • Excellent understanding and interpretation of technical/engineering drawings
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.

    Drill Rig Mechanic

    Responsible for supervising and coordinating daily drilling and mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous quarry production. The role oversees quarry bench leveling, development of new limestone quarry areas using Epiroc drill rigs, and regular monitoring of operators to ensure compliance with safety standards and minimize risks in remote quarry locations.

    What you'll be doing 

    • Understand and comply with HSE policies. Actively support key safety initiatives in the plant and support the department as needed to improve HSE performance and results
    • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
    • Ensures safe working conditions and good safe practices are applied at work.
    • Organize and execute drilling operation work site to insure work is carried in a green, safe and injury free environment. Give precise instructions and committed with it and his subordinates to avoid any confusion about work
    • Create middle chain point between technicians and team leader and back up of in case of absence 
    • Execute and implement drilling operations, and assign each drilling technician for his daily work
    • Report the shutdown reasons and drilling operation production to the drilling & blasting Team Leader
    • Reporting with the technicians the drilling log which effect on the explosives charging in the drilling holes
    • Complete first inspection with the technicians and operators for all equipment daily, cascading any breakdowns and its effect on the operation  
    • Follow up on equipment breakdowns with the workshop team 
    • Communicate with the operations team on planned blasts and its readiness
    • Communicate with the drilling and mining operators on evacuation of the quarry during the blasting process

    Requirements

    • OND /Technical Education or equivalent in Mechanical or other related field with at least 4 years’ experience in the Cement or similar industry
    • Minimum of 4-5 years’ post-qualification experience.
    • Good knowledge of RCA methodology and facilitating skills.
    • Strong spoken & written communication skills
    • Machine Main System knowledge
    • Working knowledge of cement manufacturing process.
    • Working knowledge of equipment operation procedure.
    • Able to take initiative based on sound problem solving skills
    • Solid knowledge of drilling machines operation.

    Automobile Electrician

    About the role

    Must be well-versed in installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with rig electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, maintaining electrical components for mobile equipment.

    Knowledgeable in modern rig electrical systems, have a good eye to detail, and be able to problem –solve complex electrical problems, ultimately a top-notch auto electrician that is versed in the art of using electrical schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and implement final solutions in mobile plants.

    What you'll be doing

    • Maintain mobile equipment in good working condition by following preventive and corrective maintenance schedules according to OEM.
    • Break down complex electrical information into simpler parts for team members with little or no understanding of rig system operations.
    • Locate and remove defective parts for skilled adjustment, repair or replacement.
    • Correct faults and maximized performance by rebuilding engine, electric and individual components.
    • Turn mobile plant electric systems and components to optimize functionality and prolong life of each piece.
    • Regular maintenance and addressing any engine-related electrical issues that is essential to keep the rig running smoothly.
    • Perform auto electrical maintenance and repairs activities and system evaluations on mobile equipment in a safe manner
    • Routine electrical wire checks and testing equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards of OEM.
    • Conduct periodic mechanical and electrical instruments inspections on mobile plant system to ensure it is functioning properly at all time
    • Develop solutions and rebuild equipment electrical systems, ensure good rig maintenance and repairs whenever inspection is carried out on mobile equipment.
    • Read and interpret assembly electrical diagrams to determine lasting solutions to mobile plants, auto greasing systems, electro mechanical equipment.
    • Repair and replace faulty electrical components with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with OEM and maintaining a clean work
    • Ensure company working hours and good shift timings are maintained.
    • Ensure safe working conditions and good safe practices are applied at work.

    Who you'll be working with

    • Human dimension: Mobile Plant Manager
    • Organizational dimension: The incumbent regularly interacts with all categories of Staff in the Plant and offers professional advice on best practice to maintain mobile equipment. He also regularly interacts with the plant operators on best operating practices.

    What we are looking for 

    • Minimum OND in Electrical engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in the industry Specific Work experience:
    • 5 years’ work experience in heavy mobile plant industry
    • Good working knowledge of CAT, Cummins diesel engines and equipment
    • Ability to carry out faulty diagnosis on diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission systems
    • Good knowledge of possible diagnostic tool (SIS, ET, Processes, etc.)
    • Good knowledge of safety regulations and rules applicable in an industrial area
    • Good interpersonal relations
    • Good organizational skills
