    Illustrator / Graphic Designer

    Role Overview

    • They produce assets like branding materials, marketing collateral, and digital graphics using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
    • We are seeking a versatile and creative Illustrator/Graphic Designer to conceptualize and produce captivating visual content.
    • You will blend artistic illustration with commercial design principles to deliver engaging materials that align with our brand identity and marketing goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Visual Development: Create original illustrations, typography, characters, and iconography for print and digital media.
    • Graphic Design: Craft layouts for marketing collateral, including brochures, social media graphics, web assets, and presentations.
    • Branding: Interpret and consistently apply brand guidelines across all visual mediums to enhance brand recognition.
    • Concept to Completion: Develop rough drafts and mockups for review, refining designs based on stakeholder feedback.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams, content creators, and project managers to translate ideas into visual stories.
    • Asset Preparation: Prepare and optimize final design files for print production and web deployment.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, or similar role with a strong professional portfolio.
    • Mastery of industry-standard design software, specifically Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
    • Strong foundational art skills (sketching, color theory, composition, and typography).
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict commercial deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain the rationale behind design decisions.

    Editor

    Job Summary

    • The Editor is responsible for reviewing, editing, and preparing manuscripts, articles, educational materials, books, magazines, and other publications for print and digital distribution.
    • The role ensures accuracy, consistency, clarity, grammatical correctness, and adherence to the publishing firm's editorial standards while working closely with writers, authors, designers, and production teams.
    • Editorial responsibilities commonly include manuscript review, copy editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and coordinating publication schedules.

    Key Responsibilities
    Editorial Duties:

    • Review manuscripts, articles, reports, and other written materials.
    • Edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, style, and consistency.
    • Ensure compliance with the company's editorial guidelines and publishing standards.
    • Fact-check information, references, statistics, and citations.
    • Proofread final drafts before publication.

    Content Development:

    • Collaborate with authors and writers to improve content quality.

    Required Qualifications
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in: English Language, Mass Communication, Linguistics, Literature, Journalism, Publishing Studies, Communication Arts Related discipline

    Experience:

    • 2–5 years experience in editing, publishing, journalism, content development, or related roles.
    • Experience working with books, educational materials, magazines, newspapers, or digital publications is an advantage.

    Required Skills
    Technical Skills:

    • Excellent written and spoken English.
    • Strong copy-editing and proofreading skills.
    • Knowledge of publishing processes and editorial workflows.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign or other publishing software is an advantage.
