    University Librarian

    Location: Malete, Kwara

    Duties

    • The University Librarian is a Principal Officer of the University responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the Administration of the University Library and coordination of all Library services in the University. (i.e in the Main Library and in Libraries across all campuses of the University).
    • The University Librarian is a member of the University Management Committee. As an academic staff, the University Librarian will be required to provide both academic and administrative leadership to staff of the University Library.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Candidate for the position of University Librarian, Kwara State University must:

    • Possess a good First Degree and Masters Degree in Library Science or equivalent field.
    • Possession of a relevant doctorate degree will be an added advantage.
    • Have served as a Deputy University Librarian for at least five (5) years and must have a minimum of ten (10) years overall cognate experience in a recognised University Library
    • Possess several scholarly publications.
    • Have a good command of ICT knowledge
    • Demonstrate ability to provide inspiring administrative and academic leadership
    • Not be more than 59 years of age at the time of application.

    Tenure

    • The appointment of University Librarian is for a term of five (5) years with eligibility for possible re appointment for another term of five (5) years only.

    Salary

    • The successful candidate will be entitled to the salary on CONTISS 15 and other conditions of service as may be applicable to a University Librarian in Government owned Universities in Nigeria.

    Registrar

    Location: Malete, Kwara

    Duties

    • The Registrar, a Principal Office, is the Chief Administrative Office of the University, possible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administrative duties of the University except as regard matters of finance for which the Bursar is responsible
    • The person holding the office or Registrar shall by virtue of that office, be secretary to council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation

    Qualifications and Experience
    The candidate must:

    • Posses a good honors Degree obtained from a recognized University, Possession of postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage
    • Be member of a relevant professional body
    • Have served as Deputy Registrar for at least five 51 years and take a minimum of ten (10) pears overall cognate experience in a recognized University Registry
    • Have a clear understanding of the roles and nature of a 21st century Registry in a University
    • Be information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant
    • Posses a personally that commands respect, Pave the ability to provide inspiring leadership and offer innovative advice on matters affecting management and administration of the University
    • Not be more than 59 years of age at the time of application,

    Tenure

    • The appointment of the Registrar shall be for a term of five (5) years with eligibility for possible reappointment for another term of five (5) years only.

    Salary

    • The successful candidate shall be entitled to the salary on CONTISS 15 and other conditions of Service as may be applicable to Registrars in Government owned Universities in Nigeria.

    University Bursar

    Location: Malete, Kwara

    Duties

    • The Bursar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of the University responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.
    • He/she shall provide the University Management with appropriate advice and support for all of the institution's financial transactions including investments.

    Qualifications Required

    • Prospective candidates must hold a good First Degree in Accounting from a recognized University. In addition, he or she must: Be a member of at least one of the under listed professional bodies:
      • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (CAN),
      • Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
      • Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA)
      • Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
      • Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA).
    • Have been registered with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria for not less than 3 years at the time of application.
    • Be information and Communication Technology (IT) compliant.

    Experience:

    • The candidate must have served as Deputy Bursar for at least five (5) years and must have a minimum often (10) years overall cognate experience in a recognised University bursary.
    • In addition, applicants must not be more than 59 years of age at the time of application.

    Tenure:

    • The appointment of University Bursar is for a term of five (5) years with eligibility for possible re appointment for another term of five (5) years only.

    Salary

    • The successful candidate shall be entitled to the salary on CONTISS 15 and other conditions of service as may be applicable to Bursars of Government owned Universities in Nigeria.
