    Internal Control Officer

    Responsibilities

    Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls, and timeliness of documentation generation.

    Others are:

    • Performing revenue assurance by ensuring daily reconciliation of sales with bank inflows
    • Monitoring the effective usage of company assets in compliance with management policies and procedures.
    • Field force expenses management and control by ensuring there is value for every money spent for operations.
    • Building a strong compliance environment to ensure zero-level policy, procedure, and regulatory infractions.
    • Building strong awareness in all relevant staff on all policies and procedures issues; zero tolerance for income leakages.
    • Conduct periodic stock-taking to agree on physical stock to the system records and investigate any difference noted.
    • Checking and ensuring there are no wastages and leakages in administration and procurement transactions.
    • Ensuring sanity checks and delivery of timely reports
    • Identify the risks that a business faces and develop preventive strategies.
    • Checking of Consumptions vs Bill of materials to detect and eliminate any shortages/pilferages.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • B.sc/HND Accounting, A.C.A is an added advantage.
    • 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or poultry industry or FMCG.
    • Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
    • Excellent Communication skills and perfect command of the English language.

    Other requirements:

    • The Candidate should be willing to work in Ogun or Lagos State.
    • The Candidate must have poultry farm experience

    Chief Security Officer

    The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s security strategy to safeguard personnel, assets, operations, and information. The CSO provides leadership in all areas of physical and digital security, ensures compliance with security policies and regulations, and fosters a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Manage and oversee the company’s physical security systems, including surveillance, access control, and perimeter protection.
    • Lead and coordinate the activities of the security department, including supervision of security personnel and external contractors.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective measures.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of physical security, risk management, and emergency response.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
    • Proficiency in security systems, technologies, and software.
    • Must be willing to relocate to Abeokuta
    • Must not be more than 40 years old

    Account Officer

    Job Summary

    The Account Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis. This role involves working closely with the finance team to maintain the integrity of financial data, process payments, and support day-to-day financial operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Accounting and Bookkeeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Process invoices and prepare payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner.
    • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
    • Monitor daily cash flow, process cash receipts, and disbursements.

    Financial Reporting:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Help prepare financial statements and reports for management, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
    • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.

    Tax and Compliance:

    • Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including VAT, sales tax, and other relevant tax returns.
    • Ensure compliance with all local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
    • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:

    • Process and manage payments for services, products, and other expenses.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies in accounts.
    • Follow up on overdue payments and manage collections effectively.

    Data Management and Analysis:

    • Maintain accurate and organized financial data within the accounting system.
    • Analyse financial trends and performance to support decision-making and reporting.
    • Assist in managing financial data for audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Provide support to the finance team in ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects.
    • Assist in improving accounting processes and automation.
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

    Pen Supervisor

    The Pen Supervisor is responsible for the daily management, supervision, and welfare of livestock within assigned pens. The role ensures that animals are properly fed, monitored for health issues, and maintained in a clean, safe, and productive environment in line with the farm\'s biosecurity and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate all pen workers and attendants in daily farm routines.
    • Ensure timely feeding, watering, and proper handling of animals.
    • Monitor animal health, identify early signs of disease or distress, and promptly report abnormalities to the Veterinary or Health Department.
    • Maintain accurate records of feeding, medication, mortality, and production performance.
    • Ensure strict adherence to farm biosecurity protocols and hygiene practices.
    • Oversee cleaning, waste disposal, and disinfection schedules within the pens.
    • Support vaccination, treatment, and other veterinary procedures as directed.
    • Inspect pen facilities and report repair or maintenance needs.
    • Train and mentor pen attendants on proper animal management and safety procedures.
    • Work closely with the Veterinary, Feed Mill, and Production Teams to ensure efficiency.
    • Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports to the Farm Manager.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in livestock management or poultry/piggery operations.
    • Good knowledge of animal health, feeding, and housing systems.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and under minimal supervision.
    • Commitment to biosecurity and safety compliance.
    • Must not be more than 35 years
    • Must be willing to relocate to Abeokuta
