    Videographer / Video Editor

    Job Description

    • The Videographer will be a key member of the GiantabilityTV team, supporting the video production of Giantability Media Network. In the Videographer / Editor role you will be assisting our Director to execute lighting and camera diagrams, operate cameras and basic video switchers, edit some of our content and manage our data and back-ups.

    Responsibilities

    • Capture and edit video content
    • Some motion graphic development.
    • Set up cameras, lighting and equipment for the filming sessions.
    • Manage and keep the studios and equipment organized.
    • Manage Footage Data, Back Up upload to our cloud servers.
    • Records and edits video footage and sound projects, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics (Titles, lower thirds and bullet points) adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.

    Requirements

    • Strength in storytelling
    • Attention to detail and a strong sense of pacing or timing
    • Experience with talking head / interview multi-camera productions
    • Able to leverage music as an emotional element
    • Expertise in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Suite
    • Proficient in Lighting / Staging
    • Able to work with geographically dispersed team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in live multi-camera switching.
    • Basic Graphic Design skills.
    • 3D Animations.

    Marketing Communications Specialist

    Job Description

    • The preferred candidate will be able to conduct interviews, with the ability for writing creative articles.
    • He/she will perform public relations work by liaising with foreign embassies, politicians, businesses, communities, and academia.
    • The candidate must be experienced in the area of journalism and media marketing.
    • Must be presentable, attractive, and friendly with the capacity for excellence in written and verbal communication.
    • He/she must be a team player who is ready to work in collaboration with others, and for the overall interest of the organization, the candidate must have sound knowledge of local and international politics and be good at establishing business relationships
    • Must be able to coordinate other team members towards achieving the goal of the organizations. Voice over skill preferred.
    • The candidate must be accountable, reliable, dependable, and answerable to the Chief Executive Officer.
    • This individual must be able to lead and execute within a rapid-paced, tight deadline workplace - this is not a hands-off role. We seek a creative and critical thinker who is collaborative, and most importantly - is proactive with a sense of urgency.
    • This individual knows how to connect to key stakeholders across the organization and can Media Coordinator / Bureau Chief thrives on achieving objectives and understands how the analytics can get the organization to where it needs to be.

    Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism,in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or related area(Preferred)
    • Experience in Journalism and/or marketing, 4 years (Preferred)
    • 4+ years of writing and/or marketing communications management, as well as successful track record in digital / traditional marketing, sales support, public relations and special events; Prior experience working with digital marketing communications / PR agencies or within a corporate marketing department, as well as experience managing relationships with outside vendors that include web consultants, graphic designers, printers, videographers and photographers; Background to include working for sales-driven organizations who understand the idea of ‘total customer experience’; Proven results in conceptualizing, developing, writing and managing design for production for a wide variety of marketing / sales support communications, both digital and print;
    • Must be a resident of Lagos, Abuja or Port Harcourt, Nigeria or willing to relocate.
