Job Summary

• The Logistics Supervisor at Geoaudits Nigeria is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the transportation, distribution, and storage of products to ensure efficient and timely delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of Distribution Drivers and Mates.
• Provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Report Directly to the head of operations
• Provides first hand resolution and escalates issues.

Routing and Scheduling:

• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
• Schedule transportation resources to meet delivery timelines.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels at distribution centers.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

• Ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.
• Ensure loading confirmation and offloading
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demand.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Address and resolve issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to shipments.
• Ensure Distribution drivers and mates are available on site.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in logistics operations.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics, with a focus on supervision and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in logistics management.
