    Accounts Officer 

    Responsibilities

    • Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and operational payments, ensuring proper verification and documentation.
    • Record incoming receipts and maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
    • Post financial transactions to the general and subsidiary ledgers in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Perform bank, supplier, and contractor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies where identified.
    • Provide payroll support, including preparation of payroll inputs and processing of staff salary, advances and reimbursements.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of reconciliations and financial schedules.
    • Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and audit processes.

    • Financial reporting and reconciliation.
    • Ledger management and budget monitoring.
    • Internal control application.
    • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) preferred.
    • 5 years’ experience in accounting operations or accounts management.
    • Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Sage, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian statutory requirements, payroll procedures, and general accounting principles.

    Civil Engineer 

    Responsibilities

    • Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, BEME, and technical specifications for approved projects.
    • Provide technical input during project planning and feasibility assessments.
    • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and timelines.
    • Verify the quality of construction materials and workmanship through regular site inspections.
    • Monitor project progress, evaluate variation requests, and support certification of completed works for payment.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and HSE guidelines.
    • Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate technical and project documentation.

    Critical Competencies

    • Civil engineering design and technical supervision.
    • Construction quality assurance and project monitoring.
    • Knowledge of building codes and engineering standards.
    • Risk identification and mitigation awareness.
    • Strong documentation and reporting skills.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
    • Professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
    • Membership of other professional bodies, like the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Chattered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN) would be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in infrastructure or construction supervision, preferably within development, oil & gas support, or community-based projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in contractor supervision, site inspections, quality assurance, and certification of completed works.
    • Practical understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements in construction projects.

    Quantity Surveyor 

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost plans aligned with approved project scope and budget allocations.
    • Provide cost advisory support during project planning, design, and feasibility stages.
    • Support procurement processes by preparing tender cost documentation and conducting contractor bid cost evaluations.
    • Monitor project expenditures against approved cost plans and maintain accurate project cost records.
    • Verify contractor payment applications through measurement and valuation of completed works.
    • Evaluate cost implications of project variations and identify potential cost risks.
    • Prepare cost performance reports and maintain documentation to support compliance, audit, and stakeholder decision-making.

    • Cost estimation and BOQ preparation.
    • Contract measurement and cost control.
    • Procurement and tender evaluation knowledge.
    • Value-for-money and cost governance awareness.
    • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
    • Minimum of   8 -10 years’ relevant experience in construction cost management and project cost control.
    • Professional membership (e.g., NIQS or equivalent) is a requirement.
    • Experience in infrastructure, oil & gas support, development, or community-based projects preferred.
