    CCIE Data Center Solution Architect

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    • Perform client consulting in the area of network engineering (hardware and software) using DATA CENTER devices , switches, network security devices, protocol analyzers, SD WAN, SD ACCESS
    • Design, plan, and implement LANs and WANs using the latest technology
    • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to LANs/WANs
    • Conduct throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning
    • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade network infrastructures
    • Follow life-cycle oriented processes and procedures
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems
    • Assist in the management of projects using project management methodology
    • Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements
    • Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements
    • Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components
    • Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team
    • Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work
    • Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates
    • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval
    • Work with Professional Services Managers, Project Managers and customers to manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments are being met
    • Conducts/leads design workshops for complex designs to meet customer, business and technical objectives
    • Proactively develops plans and activities to avoid problems
    • Educates the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, Mathematics or a related technical degree or equivalent
    • Relevant experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support

    Other Required Qualifications

    • Relevant years consulting experience
    • Experience with troubleshooting Cisco router, switch and/or virtual network configurations
    • Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs
    • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and end users
    • Physically able to work with network devices
    • Attention to detail on inventory and logistics is important

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CCIE certification in Data Center

    CCIE Security Solution Architect

    Description:

    Install, support and assist in the technical design of security solutions provided by Cerium Networks. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving customer escalated issues involving, security, deployed or supported network.

    • (Primary Responsibility) Work with Project Delivery team to plan, deploy, and document Security solutions into customer networks.
    • (Secondary Responsibility) Work with the ORGANISATION Sales teams to position, design, and develop client opportunities where the ORGANISATION security portfolio is a focus; including development of product and labor estimates as required.
    • Demonstrated competence with planning, deploying, and supporting Cisco ASA and Firepower security appliances including FirePOWER services and FireSight Management Console.
    • Demonstrated competence with planning, deploying, and supporting the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) ecosystem applications and components.
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco routing and switching elements (enterprise or campus networking).
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco Email Security and Web Security appliances including the Security Management Appliance (SMA) in premise &/or cloud-based delivery formats.
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco Umbrella DNS protection policy development and deployment.
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco AMP for Endpoint policy development and deployment.
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco Meraki MX security appliances; other Meraki expertise is a plus.
    • Demonstrated competence with WatchGuard XTM and UTM appliances is a plus.
    • Demonstrated competence with Juniper, Fortinet, or SonicWall security appliances is a plus.
    • Demonstrated competence with Cisco based ISR-based VPN solutions such as FLEX-VPN, GET-VPN, or DMVPN.
    • Essential understanding of Cisco UCS-C series servers and VMware ESXi Hypervisor is a plus.
    • Essential understanding of Cisco Smart Licensing, including how to add, move, and register licenses and devices is a plus.
    • The ideal candidate will be capable of addressing all of the previously mentioned technologies, speak to them professionally, plan for and implement these solutions, document to ORGANISATION’s standards the finalized deployments, and hand-off to the customer in collaboration with the ORGANISATION Project Team. .

    Qualifications

    • Interpersonal relationship skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    Intermediate Network Engineer

    Job Description

    • The Network Engineer provides monitoring and troubleshooting of LAN and WAN data connectivity providing Customer Service for reported issues as well as traveling to customer sites and providing on-site technical reviews of data networks and recommendations of modifications required for improved data network performance.

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Manages, monitors and troubleshoots WAN and LAN connections. Uses remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems
    • Creates and maintains documentation of networks and network systems
    • Follows project methodologies to complete assigned tasks
    • Configures new network equipment and connections
    • Monitors bandwidth use, analyses traffic patterns and volumes
    • Provides technical network expertise to others as necessary, including instructing field personnel in basic network troubleshooting and problem resolution

    Job Requirements

    Position Requirements:

    • WAN deployment and shaping, network monitoring solution is a plus.
    • Proper design, implementation, and support LAN technologies including VLANs.
    • Using change control, designing and implementing highly available infrastructure, experiencing working with DNS, Active Directory, Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), data management skills, HP and Dell Hardware.
    • Knowledge of Active directory management tools excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
    • Minimum of 3 year of Cisco solution implementation and experience preferred
    • CCNP in any area of solution
    • Network and communications systems troubleshooting experience
    • Pre-sales product and solution consultation exposure preferred
    • Excellent analytical ability and communications skills
    • Interpersonal relationship skills
