    Market & Communications Specialist (Brand, Media & Industry Strategy)

    Job Description

    • We are looking to hire a dynamic, creative, and strategic Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our West Africa Growth Office. 
    • This role will lead brand visibility, media engagement, marketing campaigns, and communications initiatives while actively supporting industry strategy and eminence activities.
    • You will play a key role in positioning Deloitte as a thought leader across key industries in West Africa by developing compelling content, managing high-impact campaigns, and contributing to industry-specific growth strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute integrated brand, marketing, and communications strategies to enhance Deloitte’s market presence and reputation across West Africa.
    • Lead the planning and delivery of eminence activities, including webinars, thought leadership publications, short-form multimedia content, social media campaigns, and media relations.
    • Support Industry Leaders and the Growth team with industry-specific content, positioning materials, and go-to-market campaigns.
    • Create high-quality marketing collateral, event communications, press releases, and digital content that drive engagement and lead generation.
    • Manage media relationships, track media coverage, and amplify thought leadership across traditional and digital platforms.
    • Contribute to industry strategy development by conducting market research, monitoring trends, and translating insights into marketing and communications plans.
    • Collaborate with the Growth Office team on pipeline support, proposal marketing, cross-country (Nigeria-Ghana) campaigns, and annual planning.
    • Track and report on marketing & communications KPIs (reach, engagement, lead quality, sentiment) and continuously optimize campaigns.
    • Ensure all activities align with Deloitte Global brand guidelines and compliance standards.

    Qualifications

    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.Eng./B. Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit division.
    • Have a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only.
    • 3–5 years of progressive experience in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Media Relations, or Digital Content Creation, ideally within professional services, consulting, or a fast-paced corporate environment.
    • Strong understanding or keen interest in the Nigerian business landscape, media environment, and key industries.
    • Membership from relevant professional bodies or Digital marketing certifications (Google Digital Garage, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint, etc.) will be an advantage.
    • Portfolio of past campaigns, content samples, or events managed (required during application).
    • Strong writing, content creation, and storytelling skills with proven ability to produce engaging short-form and long-form content.
    • Experience in events marketing, webinar execution, and multimedia content production.
    • Proficiency in digital tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Understanding of industry research and ability to support strategic initiatives.
    • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
    • Creative with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
    • Passionate about brand building and business development.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

    Digital Creative Consultant

    Job Description

    • We are looking to hire a Digital Creative Consultant that can create engaging and brand-compliant designs across print & digital channels and will focus on initiatives that shape Deloitte’s brand voice and bring our storytelling to life across audiences and on channels.
    • You will work closely with the Brand and Communications team to translate strategy into high-impact visual communication.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute innovative design concepts that align with project objectives and Deloitte’s brand identity.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and deliver fresh, creative ideas across campaigns, social media, and other design projects.
    • Create visually compelling assets for a variety of platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
    • Strategize, conceptualize, and deliver creative materials across touchpoints such as webpages, newsletters, internal comms, event signage, and more.
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging design technologies to deliver modern and effective design solutions.
    • Apply feedback effectively to refine and optimize creative work, ensuring final designs meet both aesthetic and functional standards.
    • Art direction and photo editing (photography).
    • Leading high-level branding and motion design projects that wow clients and audiences alike.
    • Use smart technology to boost creativity, streamline workflows, and deliver next-level visuals.
    • Provide ideas and input to campaign work that align to an overall strategy.
    • Create custom imagery and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite applications.
    • Stay up to date with industry developments, innovation, and trends.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.Eng./B. Tech., or equivalent) or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit division.
    • Possess a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects (including Mathematics and English Language).
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role either working within the marketing or corporate communications department of an organization or at an advertising agency.
    • Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, After effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop) and related software
    • In-depth knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of motion design software for motion graphics is an added advantage.
    • Be a proactive problem solver, communicate clearly, and have an enviable self-starting work ethic.
    • Excellent oral & written communication.
