Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Track performance vs. budget and provide variance analysis
- Support strategic decision-making through insights and recommendations
Financial Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and company policies
- Consolidate financials across plants or subsidiaries in the region
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor production and operating costs in cement plants
- Drive cost optimization initiatives
- Analyze cost drivers (energy, logistics, raw materials)
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Strengthen internal controls and audit processes
- Manage relationships with auditors (internal & external)
Cash Flow & Treasury Oversight
- Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Ensure liquidity management across the region
- Support treasury in funding and capital allocation
Business Partnering
- Partner with plant managers, operations, and commercial teams
- Provide financial insights to support pricing, sales, and investment decisions
- Act as a strategic advisor to regional leadership
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop regional finance teams
- Set performance targets and ensure capability building
- Drive a culture of accountability and high performance
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Professional certification required: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Experience
- Typically 10+ years of finance experience
Experience in:
- Manufacturing (preferably cement or heavy industry)
- Multi-plant or regional operations
- Prior experience in a senior finance or managerial role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective extraction of raw materials while meeting production targets, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all mining operations.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications and memberships will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 25 years' progressive experience in mining operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale open-pit mining operations.
- Demonstrated success in mine planning, production management, and operational leadership.
- Experience within the cement, quarrying, mining, or heavy industrial sector is highly desirable.

The Group Head, New Media will be responsible for leading the Dangote Group's digital communications function and driving the Group's digital presence, online reputation, and audience engagement across all digital platforms. The role serves as the strategic custodian of the Group's digital communications ecosystem, ensuring that all digital channels effectively support the Group's corporate objectives, brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and reputation.
The incumbent will provide strategic leadership for the New Media Office, overseeing digital communications strategy, corporate websites, social media, content development, multimedia production, digital monitoring, reputation intelligence, and real-time communications.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the Group's digital communications strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the New Media Office, ensuring operational excellence and high team performance.
- Drive innovation by identifying and adopting emerging digital media trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Develop policies, standards, and governance frameworks for digital communications across the Group.
Digital Platforms & Content Management
- Lead the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Group's corporate websites and digital platforms.

- Oversee editorial planning, content calendars, publishing schedules, and digital content distribution.

- Use data and insights to continuously improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, and digital platform performance.
Stakeholder Collaborations
- Partner with Corporate Communications, Branding, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Sustainability, Business Units, and Executive Leadership to ensure aligned messaging across all digital channels.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 12–15 years' relevant experience in digital communications, media, corporate communications, or related fields.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role managing enterprise-wide digital communications functions.
- Demonstrated experience within a large corporate organization, multinational company, media organization, or leading communications agency.
- Proven track record of developing and executing digital communications strategies that enhance brand reputation and stakeholder engagement.
