    HEMM Operator

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an HEMM Operator who will be responsible for operating heavy earth-moving machinery efficiently and safely to support optimal site operations.
    • Key responsibilities include conducting routine equipment inspections, reporting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
    • Operators work closely with engineers and technicians, maintaining a clean work area and following company policies.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operate heavy earth-moving machinery according to operational guidelines.
    • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections to identify faults and ensure optimal equipment performance.
    • Report equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs.
    • Comply with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and performance.
    • Keep work areas organized and clean.
    • Perfobrm additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with safety rules and regulations as per Company guidelines
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads.

    Requirements
    Education and Work Experience:

    • SSCE, Relevant certification or Diploma in Engineering or Technical discipline.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating heavy machinery.
    • Valid Class H Licence.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting HEMM equipment.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems used in heavy earth-moving machinery.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
    • Experience with HEMM Brands: Familiarity with specific brands of heavy machinery (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo) is a plus.
    • Physical stamina to work in hot, dusty, and noisy environments.
    • Strong understanding of metal properties and machining procedures.
    • Teamwork skills.

    AGM / DGM, Mines - Operations

    Job Summary

    • Oversee mining operations, Carry out mining in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise the activities of heavy equipment operators, drillers, blasters and other workers in mining
    • Ensure the implementation of short term production plans and targets are achieved.
    • Coordinate the preparation and ensure adherence to mine plans and schedules
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments and contractors to resolve problems and co-ordinate activities.
    • Develop and maintain life of mine plans for all operations with input from all operations and manage the successful implementation of these plans 
    • Ensure that all the raw material tons requirement for the factory at the correct quality aims are continually met without negatively affecting the mining equipment utilisations.
    • Coordinate with the Head, Mines to set production quotas, to plan extraction sites and to develop policies for the removal of raw materials.
    • Monitor operational performance against budget and recommend operational changes to senior management when necessary to ensure that production quotas and procedures are met.
    • Ensure that all safety, health and environmental legal and defined standards are adhered to.
    • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
    • Prepare production and other reports for review by the Head, Mines.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and laid down policies and procedures.
    • Supervise, train, and evaluate engineers, technicians, operators or other mine personnel.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned but the Line Manager from time to time.

    Key Requirements
    Education and Work Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Engineering (Production / Civil / Mining) or a related discipline.
    • A minimum of twenty-one (21) years work experience in mining operations.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • In-depth understanding of mining principles and practices. 
    • Well developed personnel management skills.
    • Excellent investigative, analytical, problem solving and lateral thinking skills to improve mining operation practices.
    • Very good business skills to allow the delivery of a cost effective mines operations.
    • Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills.

    Process Technician

    Job Overview

    • The process Technician is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the cement manufacturing process to ensure efficient and consistent production.
    • This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, conducting routine inspections, and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving proceess issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor the cement production process to ensure it operates within specifieed parameters.
    • Use control systems and instrumentation to track process variables such as temperature, pressure and flow rates
    • Record and report proceess data to the Process Engineer for analysis
    • Operate and maintain production equipment, including crushers, mills, kilns and conveyors
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Assist in the startup and shutdown of production equipmnent as needed.
    • Identify and troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
    • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.
    • Implement correctice actions to address process deviations and equipment malfunctions
    • Adhere to safety protocolas and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Participate in safety training and emergency reponse drills.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in all process-related activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of process data equipment maintenance and quality control results.
    • Prepare and submit reports on production performance, equipment status and process improvements.
    • Assist in development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)s.

    Data Analyst

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
    • This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimise data processes, and deliver Data Analytics solutions.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualisation, data modelling, and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau e.t.c), with experience in SAP BW Bex query/Analytic query being a significant advantage.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet stakeholder needs.
    • Build and optimize data models and write advanced DAX formulas for performance efficiency.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development.
    • Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data visualization.
    • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
    • Extensive experience in data modelling and working with star/snowflake schemas.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
    • Proven ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
    • Experience with SAP BW Bex query/Analytic query will be an added advantage.
