    Credit Control Supervisor - Account Receivable

    Role Outline

    • A Credit Control Supervisoris responsible for managing a team that recovers unpaid debt/money/outstanding owed to the organisation.
    • The debts may be fromeither business (commercial collection) or individuals (consumer collection).
    • The credit function plays a vitalrole in the finance department to ensure that invoices are paid on time to assist the organisation.

    Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Credit Control Supervisorrole will perform a wide range of duties and responsibilities.

    These may include, but are not limited to:

    • Managinga team of Credit Control Officers
    • Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
    • Reviewingcredit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness
    • Preparing journal entries, credit notes and assisting with month end
    • Review and report on Aged Debtors
    • Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies
    • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans
    • Assisting the broader accounts team
    • Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days

    Field Engineer

    Key Responsibilities
    Installation and Configuration:

    • Attending to customer premises to install and configure ISP services, including internet connectivity, routers, modems, and other networking equipment.
    • Follow installation guidelines, technical specifications, and company procedures to ensure accurate setup and connectivity.
    • Test and verify the performance of installed services to ensure they meet the desired speed, reliability, and quality standards.
    • Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of the installed equipment and services.

    Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Ensure installations are completed according to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform regular audits and quality checks on installed services to identify any deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to ISP installations to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Qualification and Skills

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degree in a related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience in network installations, preferably within an ISP or telecommunications environment.
    • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and equipment, such as routers, switches, modems, and cabling.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and resolving technical problems.
    • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network diagnostic tools.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.

    Fiber Optics Engineer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for customer premise installations, including racking, cabling, bonding and grounding.
    • Coordinate fiber activities with other departments and the Manager of OSP construction
    • Perform ring cuts on live fiber without affecting existing services.
    • Perform fiber tests with OTDR’s, light source and meters.
    • Terminate, splice, bonds/grounds and tests fiber optic equipment to division standards.
    • Provide accurate equipment location, splicing and terminating records for the fiber database.
    • Assist Construction/Engineering departments in accepting and turning up the fiber network.
    • Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and patch and panels.

    • Work a variety of schedules including normal duty and on call duty.

    Education and qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Electrical Electronic/Computer engineering or other related Course.
    • Independent problem solver combined with strong team orientation.
    • 3+ years of technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment.
    • Knowledgeable in Cisco switching and routing configuration and troubleshooting

    Documentation and Report Officer

    Responsibilities
    Data Recording & Job Management:

    • Record all incoming requests, job updates, fault logs, and closures in the job tracking system accurately and in real time.
    • Maintain a complete log of all jobs — open, in-progress, completed, and cancelled — with correct dates, engineer assignments, and status.
    • Capture materials used per job and update inventory records accordingly.

    Filing & Archiving:

    • Archive all job cards, completion forms, fault reports, and project documents within 24 hours of job closure.
    • Maintain an organized physical and digital filing system using consistent naming and categorization.
    • Conduct a monthly filing check to identify and correct any gaps or missing records.

    Reporting:

    • Generate ad hoc reports when requested by the Team Lead or HOD.

    Coordinator Backup:

    • Cover all coordinator duties during absence — request intake, work order drafting, client appointment confirmation, and inter-departmental communication.
    • Maintain sufficient familiarity with coordinator tools and contacts to step in without operational disruption.

    Requirements

    • Minimum OND / HND in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
    • 1–2 years in an administrative, data entry, or records management role.
    • Telecoms experience is an advantage.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with job tracking or CRM tools is an advantage.
    • High attention to detail, organized, reliable, able to handle confidential data with discretion.
