Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of machines, equipment, and building systems through regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs. This role involves a combination of technical skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, as well as proactive problem-solving to address tenant maintenance concerns efficiently.

Job Details

• Examine machines and systems regularly for signs of wear or damage by conducting thorough checks according to maintenance schedules. 
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdown. 
• Lubricate moving parts, tighten bolts and replace worn components and parts to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and safely 
• Perform semi-skilled and skilled facilities maintenance work involving carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs and maintenance of the plaza’s building and facilities.
• Clean, maintain, and repair building fixtures and equipment including locks, windows, doors, roof drains, and systems furniture. 6.       Replace/clean HVAC filters and perform minor maintenance to HVAC units to keep condensate drains unblocked. 
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. 
• Receive and respond to tenant reports of maintenance issues on their floors or offices. 
• 9Document findings and report potential issues. 
• Identify electrical faults and ensure timely resolution. 
• Carry out Quarterly Preventive Maintenance of Electrical systems on the Rise Platform 
• Ensure low load consumption to reduce electricity diesel consumption. 
• High Response time to Complaints from Rise App 
• Daily checklist on the Rise Platform

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND in any recognized institution.

Job Summary

The Safety Officer is responsible for enforcing safety policies, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel, tenants, and visitors. This role involves implementing safety measures, conducting training, monitoring facilities and personnel for adherence to regulations, and addressing safety issues promptly to mitigate risks.

Job Details

• Implement safety policies and procedures of the company. 
• Carry out Health and Safety Induction for new workers, Tenants and Staff. 
• Responsible for Environmental Compliance and Waste Disposal on site and in Staff Quarters. 
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issuance and monitoring and ensure compliance to usage. 
• Sub-contractors manpower recording and work permit registration and filing. 
• Daily inspection of all facilities on the floors. 
• Filing of HSE reports and records. 
• Notify the Facilities Manager if any HSE issues arise and report daily. 
• Conduct and monitor contractors for compliance with PPE regulations, and follow the company safety program. 
• Coordinate with other departments on all the new staff hired on-site. 
• Responsible for the daily housekeeping maintenance of the locker room, toilet, and entrance access road (common areas). 
• Oversees the security guards to ensure they are on their bits. 
• Monitor the fire alarm systems and maintain all safety equipment. 
• Monitor the CCTV footage when the need arises. 
• Conduct safety induction for contractors on site.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Safety Officer with knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and compliance.

Educational Qualifications: 

• A minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• HSE certifications (HSE 1,2,3)
• A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is an added advantage.

Skills and competence:

Job Summary

The Legal Officer will play a critical role in managing and mitigating the company’s legal risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position involves supervising and liaising with external counsel to effectively handle litigation matters, ensuring that all cases are robustly defended to uphold the company’s interests. The Legal Officer will provide expert legal advice, participate in contract renegotiations, and mediate disputes to minimize exposure to unnecessary litigation. Additionally, the role requires handling corporate filings, statutory compliance, and conducting searches at the Corporate Affairs Commission for the company and its subsidiaries. The Legal Officer will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining minutes of key meetings and undertaking special tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management or the Head of Department (HOD). This position demands a proactive approach to legal challenges, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to represent the company in diverse forums with professionalism and precision.

Job Details

1. Supervise, liaise and assist external counsels in diligently representing the company in all litigation matters instituted in Lagos and to prepare appropriate responses to counsels to ensure that every suit is watertight and adequately conveys the intention of the company.
2. Advise on legal matters and represent the company in meetings on legal matters.
3. Re-negotiate contracts and enter into dispute resolution mediation on behalf of the company, towards avoiding unnecessary litigation.
4. Filing of returns and other statutory filings at the Corporate Affairs Commission on behalf of member companies in the Group.
5. Undertaking searches, obtaining Certified True Copies (CTC), and performing other set tasks at the Corporate Affairs Commission on behalf of member companies in the Group.
6. Take minutes of various meetings as required by management.
7. Carry out specific task assigned by management. 
8. Other responsibilities as may be delegated by HOD or Management

Educational qualification:

1. LLB with 7 to 10 years  post call.  Candidate must be grounded in Litigation.
