    Spares Analyst

    To drive the start-up activities of site/module/initiative start-up team(s) and serve as coach to site/module operations resources in execution of small change/small projects and analyse spares to ensure the right spares are in the inventory driving minimum inventory level. 

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Analyze spare parts consumption trends to prevent stock-outs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Drive reduction and elimination of spare parts run outs, establish pre-production budgets, and own cost tracking and control.
    • Lead and own the DDS process, ensuring effective communication with Operations on progress against GSUM tasks, deliverables, and performance results.
    • Own the Start-Up Work Process from project initiation through Initial Verification and final close-out, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones and deliverables.
    • Establish the start-up communication framework and lead manufacturing readiness activities, including Current Operations Assessment and execution of resulting action plans.
    • Define and deploy integrated start-up plans and schedules, coordinating with Engineering and Operations to achieve project-specific success criteria.
    • Manage staffing and resource allocation for start-up activities, ensuring operational readiness and capability alignment.

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical).
    • 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or FMCG company.
    • Strong project management skills with demonstrated delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Excel and data accuracy.

    Team Lead

    To ensure production processes, management and control of products quality within a Making and Packing Machine combination is in line with Best Practices. To ensure that manufacturing activities within the complex under his jurisdiction are carried out correctly to meet volume demand and quality specifications in line with SMD best procedures, at an effective cost, in a hygienic and safe working environment.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Ensures daily production target are met in terms of volume and brand mix and machine availability to meet set target for machine uptime.
    • Ensures set quality parameters are maintained during manufacturing & Staff compliance with EHS standards
    • Ensures supply of materials from supporting departments for processing.
    • Plan and implement development programmes for subordinates & ensure operational records are kept and other administrative tasks attended to.
    • Operates within agreed budget.
    • Ensure adequate communications among Team members and the desired communication is maintained with between all parteners.

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering and 2 years’ experience.
    • HND and 5 years relevant experience
    • Proven knowledge of manufacturing process.
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in Excel and other computer-related systems.

    Maintenance Coordinator

    To drive improvement in maintenance culture, improve maintenance team productivity, reduce breakdown and cost to the barest minimum.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Ensure optimal and consistent performance of all making and packing subassemblies, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime caused by subassembly failures.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive tracking system for all subassemblies, enabling full visibility, monitoring, and lifecycle management of installed assets to improve utilization and reduce operational costs.
    • Establish and maintain a spare parts consumption database to ensure availability of critical components, minimizing downtime associated with stockouts and improving maintenance planning accuracy.
    • Deploy relevant IWS processes within manufacturing, ensuring full compliance and achievement of targeted health check scores.
    • Conduct safety evaluations and audits for all subassemblies and newly installed equipment, developing standardized operational procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    • Deliver training to maintenance leads and line structures on all applicable IWS processes, strengthening capability and ensuring consistent process adherence across teams.

    What are we looking for?

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent practical experience is required.
    • 3 up to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing. (Tobacco industry is an advantage)
    • Strong technical knowledge, including advanced troubleshooting and maintenance expertise, essential for effective role performance.
    • Proficiency in SAP, with demonstrated ability to effectively apply the system in a manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer of experience across teams.
