    Brand Marketer

    Job Purpose

    The Brand Marketer is responsible for leading brand marketing activities and managing multiple marketing programs across the company’s media platforms. He/she  will be in charge of managing, coordinating and reporting all digital marketing campaign activities as assigned.

    Job Description

    • Create and execute marketing strategies focused on leveraging social media platforms.
    • Develop engaging content, manage brand campaigns to sell the company’s products and services.
    • Staying abreast of the travel industry trends to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
    • Accountable for managing a variety of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and distribution.
    • Assist in the development of annual, long- and short-term marketing strategy and plans.
    • Develop and manage marketing programs and partner integration for industry marketing.
    • Periodic reporting on brand performance as required by management.
    • Maintain the company’s public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives
    • Build relationships with influencers, journalists and media outlets to foster brand visibility.
    • Oversee social media accounts and ensure brand consistency
    • Complete research into industry trends and public perception
    • Aid in the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns and strategies to strengthen the brand identity
    • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management.

    Competencies Required

    • Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing or Management is ideal.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in this role or in a similar role.
    • Proficency with Microsoft office package such as Work, Excel.
    • High level of commitment and enthusiasm.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities
    • Strong organization skills with a problem- solving attitude
    • Attention to detail.
    • High level of integrity, honesty and creativity
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required.

    Communications and Public Relations Officer

    Job Purpose

    • The Communications and Public Relations Officer is expected to lead the design and implement a robust and fit-for-purpose communications and public relations strategy for the company.
    • Core roles will include media engagement, creative design and branding, content development and management of company social media accounts and website to project positive company image.

    Job Description

    Internal Communications

    • Develop and implement the communications strategy for Blue Brain, ensuring integration and alignment with the company’s strategy, and targeting key audiences to build profile and support for Blue Brain work.
    • Provide technical, editorial, documentation, media, and communication support during company events.
    • Develop compelling stories - features, photo and video stories, and events that reinforce Blue Brain brand.
    • Manage delivery of core communications resources and assets, including reports, briefings, factsheets, profiles, and coordinate production (design and printing) in line with Blue Brain brand guidelines.
    • Work with relevant staff to develop communication materials including press releases, newsletters, articles, brochures, banners, posters, guidelines, factsheets, etc., to support clients, partners, and investors.
    • Provide technical advice and support to staff in planning and developing relevant information and communications products and organize in-house media training for staff, as necessary.

    Public Relations -External Communications and Media Engagement

    • Maintain company positive profile through impactful media and outreach campaigns across key external online and offline communications channels.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with targeted online, print and broadcast journalists, editorial writers, bloggers, and columnists, as well as other media influencers, and mobilize them for Blue Brain events
    • Initiative proactive measures to anticipate, prevent, limit brand attacks by implementing effective media monitoring and crisis communications strategies.
    • Oversee and manage the program’s digital media strategy, ensuring that website and social media channels content are updated and engaging.
    • Proactively identify media opportunities and, in close liaison with Blue Brain partners, plan and implement media events including press conferences.
    • Oversee monitoring of the current and future news agenda to identify and exploit communications opportunities, manage press enquires and pursue opportunities for promoting Blue Brain.
    • Oversee management of media contact database and execute and monitor media strategies and activities, including press conferences, one-to-one briefings, press releases, and other written materials.
    • Undertake competition analysis, and relevant market research for new business proposals.
    • Design company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives in a manner that fosters positive public and community relations.

    Competencies Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
    • Minimum of two (2) year work experience in communications, creative design and branding, media, and public relations
    • Deep understanding of communications and public relations principles – strategy & execution
    • Proven skills in writing, editing, and proofreading, concept, and brand creation.
    • Ability to effectively convey programme goals, enlist partnerships, and work with a range of programme and external stakeholders.
    • Expert use of Microsoft Office Applications - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook applications; Cloud data storage tools - Google drive, DropBox, OneDrive; Graphic Design software – Adobe Suite, CorelDraw etc
    • Social media knowledge and experience - adept at using major social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
    • High degree of motivation, initiative, independence, reliability, adaptability, and professional maturity
    • Experience working with diverse team including web developers, journalists, graphic artists.
    • Good command of English – possess excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, client management, social skills.
