Ensure compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements through the proactive prevention, control, and elimination of microbiological risks arising from environmental sources, personnel activities, and operational processes, thereby safeguarding product quality, consumer safety, and organizational compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, interpret, and report microbiological test results, while engaging with regulatory bodies and consultants to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with  regulatory and customer requirements.
• Conduct sampling and coordinate follow-up of in-house drinking water physicochemical and microbiological analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
• Coordinate air quality  monitoring, personnel swab testing, and food safety hygiene assessments in line with food safety and regulatory requirements.Investigate food safety-related illnesses, injuries, or health concerns through internal clinic records to prevent cross-contamination and promote employee health and well-being.Monitor, review, and report on pest control activities, ensuring effective implementation and compliance with food safety standards.
• Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessments and compliance initiatives aimed at promoting a sustainable workplace and environment.Serve as the facility's      
• Sustainability Representative, driving sustainability programs and  fostering environmental responsibility.
• Participate Participate in hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify potential biological contamination risks and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of management systems, particularly ISO 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, by coordinating and preparing for internal and external audits.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Microbiology, Environmental/Biological related sciences or a related field

THE PERSON MUST HAVE:

Good mathematical skills for the purpose of      statistical analysisBe customer focused with good communication skills 

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum of 1 - 3 years in a similar role

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage and grow our share of the business from the customer accounts in assigned portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement accounts sales plan and planning agreements, to ensure annual sales objectives are achieved. Ensure quarterly dynamic pricing reviews are maintained and implemented.
• Investigate new opportunities to increase our market share of wallet, in order to expand current business relationships and increase the value of customer accounts.
• Review Customers’ accounts result monthly, explain the reasons for any deviations and take corrective actions, in order to be aligned with the agreed budget and planning agreement.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of customers’ cyclical demand to improve service and recognize opportunities. Use this information to gather forecasts and share with the planner to facilitate the demand plans.
• Coordinate deliveries, follow-up shipments and keep customers always informed, so as to avoid miscommunication and ensure on time deliveries.
• Focus on working capital by managing stock levels, ensuring slow moving stock is attended to quickly. Assist the collection manager in the collecting of payments.
• Maintain frequent communication and make planned visits to customers (monthly, weekly and quarterly)
• Forecast demand to the planning team (monthly, quarterly) to ensure the right SKU’s and volumes are produced for customers as well as keeping stock levels low.
• Report ongoing (dynamic) analysis regarding market conditions and competitor activities.
• Negotiate and implement the annual business budget and planning agreements, in terms of sales turnover, profitability and other KPIs, to contribute the agreed profits.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing and Sales or a related field

THE PERSON MUST:

• Be a “sales hunter”
• Have excellent business communication skills 
• Be customer oriented
• Have experience in the commercial/sales from a B2B company, preferably in logistics/manufacturing sector 

EXPERIENCE 

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words and Power Point Presentation
