    H3SE Services (H3SESS) Personnel

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The H3SESS shall include H3SE support in COMPANY's offices to COMPANY's Geophysical Operations Team during the preparation of the upcoming PROJECT.
    • Ensure that the HSE related acquisition contractor's pre-project deliverables are reviewed, validated, and in compliance with the company's standard.
    • Assist in the preparation of SIMOPS and Bridging documents.
    • Liaise with COMPANY TECHLOG Team to ensure that the proposed vessel(s) meet COMPANY requirements and standards.
    • The H3SESS shall also include support during the PROJECT key meetings (Pre-Survey KOM, KOM, Weekly Survey Progress, etc).
    • The H3SESS shall include monitoring, advising, and reporting back to COMPANY all H3SE issues.
    • The H3SES shall be part of COMPANY's crew onboard the FIELD UNIT.
    • The CH3SESS shall comply with: "COMPANY rule CR-EP-GSR-001 HSE training Geosciences métier personnel."

    Qualifications

    • The H3SES shall have a minimum of a Diploma or its equivalent.
    • Shall have a proven track record of a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in supervision or management of Health, Safety, and Environment.
    • Documented knowledge of Geophysical marine/land Operations.
    • Trained in risks linked to toxic gas, such as Hydrogen Sulphide (COMPANY account).
    • RSES (Responsible Safety and Environment on Site), a COMPANY internal training.
    • "Gestion Sécurité Environnement sur Site."
    • VHF License

    Requested Competencies:

    • Proof of knowledge in:
      • HSE Management Systems implementation.
      • IAGC and IOGP standards.
      • Hazards and Effects.
      • Management processes.
      • Audit techniques.
      • Geophysical operations.
      • Geophysical contractors.
      • Basic seismic knowledge.

    Documentation:

    • Bridging (SIMOPS) documents.
    • Review and validate CONTRACTOR's pre-project deliverables (i.e., Project HSE Plan, Logistics, Security, Bunkering, Resupplies, Environmental, Waste management, Emergency Response Plans, etc).

    Lead SEISMIC OC

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provision of project support in company's offices at least one (1) week before vessel(s) mobilization to the site.
    • Support during the project kick-off meetings.
    • The CAS Services shall include the provision of equipment, including software, and personnel as required for monitoring, supervision, and quality control of the acquisition and recorded data in accordance with the SAC and CONTRACT and reporting all irregularities back to the Geophysical Acquisition Coordinator (GAC).
    • The CAS shall participate in meetings during the execution of the survey, Kick-Off meeting (ROC), and Weekly Survey Progress meeting.

    Qualifications

    • The CAS shall have a Diploma or its equivalent and shall have a proven track record of a minimum of seven (7) years' experience and good general knowledge of Geophysical Acquisition techniques.
    • The CAS must have a strong Positioning/Navigation QC background with a proven track record in towed streamer /or OBS projects to ensure 24 hours QC coverage with the CPS (working in shift with the CPS).
    • Proven experience as Nav QC. 3D Streamer (conventional and broadband). 4D (Streamer and Ocean Bottom Seismic). OBS (OBC and OBN).
    • Close passes and dual vessel operations (e.g., Undershooting, push and pull modes, etc).
    • Be familiar with QC industry-accepted QC software and be able to produce seismic attribute maps/plots.

    Requested Competencies:

    • Good knowledge of the IAGC and IOGP standards.
    • Good knowledge of Geophysical operations (Streamer & OBS operations).
    • Good knowledge of Acquisition Contractor's recording and positioning systems and procedures.
    • Good knowledge of Geophysical equipment and systems used in marine data acquisition.
    • Good knowledge of Geophysical Contractors' organization.
    • Good knowledge of seismic data and navigation/positioning data QC.
    • Proficiency in suitable seismic and navigation/positioning QC and reporting software.
    • Software for Navigation Data QC and final processing used by Seismic Contractors: e.g., Sprint, Spectra, Orca, Reflex, etc.
    • QC and validation of final SPS files if OBS survey, SEGY data viewer software, good knowledge of audit techniques.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.

    Navigation QC (CPS) Personnel

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The CPS shall include the provision of equipment, including software, and personnel as required for monitoring, supervision, and quality control of the acquisition and recorded data in accordance with the SAC specifications and contract and reporting of all irregularities back to the Lead QC.
    • The CPS must have a strong Seismic QC background with a proven track record in towed streamer /or OBS projects to ensure 24 hours QC coverage with the CAS (working in shift with the CAS).
    • The CPS shall be part of COMPANY's crew onboard the FIELD UNIT.

    Qualifications

    • The CPS shall have a minimum of a Diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of seven (7) years documented experience in supervision of geophysical data acquisition activities for the petroleum industry like experience as a Chief Navigator or Senior Navigator or Surveyor or other practical experience from positioning/navigational operational activities.
    • CPS shall have a documented and good knowledge of:
      • Geophysical Seismic Data acquisition:
        • 2D, 3D, and 4D for towed streamer, including close passes and undershooting.
      • Geophysical equipment and systems used for seismic data acquisition:
        • Cables and recording systems (TRIACQ, gAS, or equivalent)
        • Integrated navigation systems ORCA, TRINAV, or equivalent.
      • Software for Reporting and Data Quality Control:
        • Reporting software for production follow-up and provision of regular reporting (Daily, weekly....)
        • Database application for seismic attributes management (e.g., multi-plot or its equivalent).
        • SEGY data viewer software, e.g., Seisview, INTViewer...
      • Software for Navigation Data QC and final processing used by Seismic Contractors:
        • e.g., Sprint, Spectra, Orca, Reflex, etc.

    Requested Competencies:

    • Good knowledge of the IAGC and IOGP standards.
    • Good knowledge of Geophysical operations.
    • Good knowledge of towed streamer and OBN recording and positioning systems and procedures.
    • Good knowledge of Geophysical equipment and systems used in streamer/OBS data acquisition:

    4D Specialist (4DRES)

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The services shall support company in the preparation and execution of seismic 4D acquisition.
    • The 4DSs shall cooperate with any other supervisors mobilized and appointed by company to work on the field unit or in the survey area.
    • Acquisition coordinator of all supervisors engaged by company for the project shall be the Lead QC/RSESD.
    • All 4DSs shall comply with COMPANY rule CR-EP-GSR-001 'HSE training Geosciences métier personnel."

    The 4DS shall:

    • Be part of company crew onboard the field unit, cover 24 hrs/7 days a week services.
    • Respect company's H3SE policy, Acquisition Contractor's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and all applicable laws.
    • The 4DS shall commence work in company's offices as a member of company's Geophysical Operations Team in the preparation of the upcoming project.
    • Assist in defining a strategy for the Acquisition Contractor to ensure the quality results in an efficient and safe manner.

    Qualifications

    • A Diploma or its equivalent.
    • 4DS shall have a minimum of 7 years' experience in Petroleum Industry or comparable operations.
    • 4DS shall have a documented, good knowledge of Geophysical Acquisition and processing.
      • Streamer.
      • OBS.
      • Including close passes and dual vessel operations (e.g., Undershooting, push-pull, pull reverse geometry) and be familiar with QC software and be able to produce seismic attributes (time series and areal QC plots).

    Documents:

    • Baseline analysis.
    • Feather analysis.

    Start-up Technical Audit Services (TECA) Personnel

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The Services comprise the provision of start-up technical auditors familiar with the towed streamer and ocean bottom seismic survey and related equipment and systems.
    • The TECA will perform a technical audit at the start-up of seismic surveys. The objective of the audit is to assess the compliance to the contract requirement of contractor's equipment and personnel, including the Quality Control procedures, and to ensure company that contractor will be able to deliver data free of error.
    • The TECA shall be part of company's crew onboard the field unit.
    • Collection and perusal of the main documentation relating to the project including but not limited to:
      • Seismic Acquisition contract.
      • Project plan of seismic contractor.
      • Pre-qualification audit report and related recommendations.
      • Participation in the Kick-Off meeting onboard the recording vessel (Or other location to be confirmed at a later stage) prior to the start of the operations.
    • Participation in the SIMOPS meeting organized in the field.

    Onboard the Field Unit:

    • Organize with the Crew Party Chief (PC) and Head of Department a technical meeting to review and discuss:
      • Audit program.
      • Test and checks.
      • Acquisition Parameters and Technical specifications.
      • Technical exceptions agreed during the CFT stage.
      • Check with the Crew Party chief the crew organization.
      • Interview the key persons of Seismic crew and some operators.
      • Check the implementation of technical procedures/Work instructions, technical guide, and manuals.
      • Check the availability onboard and verify the version of the following Contract documents but not limited to:
        • Signed contract.
        • Contractor project plan.
        • Pre-plot navigation listing and map.
      • Check the availability of updated Navigation map (Instrument room and bridge for both vessel) including:
        • The pre-plotted lines validated by company.
        • The surface and sea bottom installations provided by company.
      • Check with PC swathes definition and acquisition priorities.
      • Ensure stocks of spares are adequate (Obtain comprehensive contractor equipment/spares list)
      • Source and Gun Controller.
      • Navigation and Position GPS/RGPS.
      • Integrated Navigation System (INS).
      • Navigation Post-Processing QC System.
      • Echo-sounder.
      • Hydro-Acoustic Propagation Velocity.
      • Bathymetry reduction check.
      • Quality Control and Reporting.
      • Check that required parameters are achieved:
        • Geometry (Receiver lines, source shot lines, shot interval, max. offsets ...)
        • Positioning accuracy during deployment and final position.
        • 4D repeatability (Receivers and shots).
        • Acoustic (OBC Cable).
      • Recording System/VSO buoy recorder.
      • Receiver OB cable.

    Deliverables

    • Audit agenda including a detailed scope of work.
    • Audit debriefing report (It could be the draft report  conclusions/ recommendations).
    • Final report shall include at least:
      • Conclusions and Recommendations.
      • Summary of Acquisition Contractor performance focused on 4D navigation aspects.
      • Geodetic parameters, vessel, and navigation offsets, navigation system configurations.
      • Inclusion of the work/results done during the preparation.
      • 4D navigation attributes presentation for the areas (new obstruction Appendices containing all other relevant information.
    • A draft report shall be sent shortly after the completion of the service for company review.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or its equivalent with in-depth knowledge of seismic acquisition equipment.
    • Candidate shall have a minimum 7 years' experience in the Petroleum Industry or comparable operations.

    Start-up HSE Audit Services (HECA) Personnel

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The services comprise the provision of start-up HSE auditors familiar with the towed streamer and ocean bottom seismic survey and related equipment and systems.
    • The HECA will perform an HSE audit at the start-up of seismic surveys.
    • The objective of the audit is to assess the compliance with the Contract requirement of Contractor 's vessels, equipment, and personnel, including work procedures/JSA.

    Deliverables

    • Audit agenda including a detailed scope of work.
    • Audit debriefing report (It could be the draft report including conclusions/recommendations).
    • Final report shall include at least:
      • Conclusions and Recommendations.
      • Appendices containing all other relevant information.
    • A draft report shall be sent shortly after the completion of the service for company review.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or equivalent with in-depth knowledge of vessel audit and inspection.
    • Candidates shall have a minimum of 8 years' experience in vessel auditing and inspection in the petroleum industry.

    Geophysical Acquisition Coordinator (GAC)

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The services comprise the provision of a GAC familiar with the towed streamer and ocean bottom seismic survey and related equipment and systems.
    • Contributes to enhancing the leadership behaviors and risk culture through the designated channels by Identifying opportunities for improvement following the observation and monitoring of the:
      • Work organization, job planning, shore support,
      • Line management engagement with individuals and teams.
      • Communication 'bottom-up' and 'top-bottom'.
    • Verifying the implementation of the agreed solutions/way forward.
    • Follows the preparation then execution of Geophysical Contract by:
      • Assisting company representative for all Geophysical Project phases according to CR EP GPA OOI.
      • Manage and lead stakeholders' meetings relating to the project.
      • Ensuring that all Contractual Project deliverables are approved at Mobilization and properly communicated within all Parties.
      • Monitoring day-to-day operations performed by the Geophysical Contractor and performance of the geophysical equipment in close relation with the company Supervisor and as per Geophysical Contract specifications.
      • Ensuring that Project Risk Assessment is regularly reviewed, and any downgraded situation or Management of Change reported.
      • Approving reports of incidents/accidents within company Synergize Data Base.
      • Ensuring HSE trends are identified, and lessons learned shared.
      • Verifying the effective closure of actions (e.g., observations, inspections, incidents) by order of priority.
    • Follow mobilization audits by:
      • Reviewing all findings and confirming adequate closure with company Supervisors.
      • Identifying constraints for not achieving compliance.
    • End of Project:
      • Approving all Final Operations reports.
      • Ensuring Websis data base is updated.
      • Steering the Closeout Meeting.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or equivalent with in-depth knowledge of seismic acquisition operations.
    • Shall have a minimum of 8 years' experience in seismic acquisition operation and related services.
    • Proven track record of supervising or managing geophysical operations in the O&G industry ideally with company or other major OCs.
    • Ex Party Chief, Chief Observer, Chief Nav, Seis or NAV QCs, etc.
