• As a founding contributor on the Sales Development Team, you will be responsible for hiring and driving a team that develops key business opportunities by establishing connections, setting meetings, and coordinating demos for the greater organization.
• This is a high impact position that helps support client relationships and revenue growth.
• You’ll be partnering closely with our Sales & Marketing teams to identify future clients and will be responsible for generating qualified prospects through channels such as: cold calling, emailing, social selling and networking.
• This role will work closely with all divisions of the Atlas team and will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
• We’re a remote company with regional offices across the US and around the world.
• So, you can work from anywhere, or you can work from one of our offices, or you can trade off based on where the wind takes you.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure sales accepted opportunities are sourced in accordance with company targets, and that our sales organization has enough opportunities to work with to be fully productive.
• Ensure we efficiently and effectively qualify inbound demand as well develop outbound strategies per region while leveraging digital and field marketing resources for particular campaigns
• Motivate and develop SDRs in alignment to our levelling concept in order to exceed goals through coaching and incentives and grow their careers. A successful candidate will be equal parts business manager and talent developer.
• Plan, forecast, and understand ramp adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing.
• Manage SDR rosters for tracking ramp adjusted capacity and productivity.
• Manage SDR reports and dashboards to ensure the results they deliver can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Build a word-class sales and business development team. Recruit, train, and develop a global team of SDRs, and SDR managers.
• Effectively manage paths for career advancement within the SDR functions as well as to closing sales roles.
• Partner with regional managers to develop campaigns that align to their regional goals based on a territory plan.
• Iterating the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training and enablement with respect to the GitLab core values.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and people ops to ensure SDR onboarding program and ongoing training is up-to-date on our current product offering.
• Partner with sales and marketing operations to ensure the SDR team has the best tools to do their job, and that they are configured to ensure SDR efficiency and productivity, especially salesforce.com and Outreach.
• Focus on the quality of opportunities without sacrificing quantity. The four core metrics this role should care about are the impact on the sales cycle, close rates, pipeline contribution and average deal size.

About You

• 3+ years in sales as both a Sales Development Representative and a closer, ideally with a SaaS product
• Proven track record of consistently delivering monthly quotas as an individual contributor
• Experience managing and improving Sales Development KPIs
• Proven track record of success as an SDR manager (1+ years) and effectively partnering with Marketing and Sales leadership to achieve shared goals

• Key objective is to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.
• The responsibilities of the director of business development include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with clients and advisors, and notifying partners of key business developments.
• To be successful as a director you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen.
• Ultimately, an exceptional director of business development should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Inside Sales Managers and Mid-Market Sales Managers.
• Own quarterly sales forecasting and pipeline reviews across team.
• Provide sales coaching, training, and execution of sales strategy in order to increase sales revenue. 
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Atlas' solution offerings
• Track and review key metrics to ensure the success of reps through the full sales cycle.
• Interface and develop professional relationships with existing clients and prospects throughout the organizational levels.
• Display a systemic approach to managing challenging contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time.
• Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in determining win-based proposals and pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas internally at Atlas to ensure a collaborative approach to winning business. 

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of individual level tech sales experience.
• At least 3 years managing an SMB Sales Team.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Experience using Salesforce.com and measuring system compliance.
• Experience over-exceeding quarterly team quotas through metric based skill development and internal team management.
• Experience working on complex contract negotiations.
• Experience selling HR software preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying sales opportunities through cold calling, emailing, social selling, and other methods for prospecting
• Educate leads on our product and solutions and nurture them until they are qualified and ready to talk with a Sales Director
• Utilize our CRM and supporting tools to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, and accurately report and track all data
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to help drive revenue opportunities
• Meet and exceed goals by hitting daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s
• Lastly, bring your ideas and creativity to help develop new strategies and processes

About You

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• Preferred 1+ years in sales as a Sales Development Representative or similar
• Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of product selling points via phone and email
• High energy, creative, attention to detail, strong desire to win, growth mindset
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly
• Interest in learning new technologies
• Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving organization
• For Middle East  market preferable to speak Arabic and English
