    Mold Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Monitoring the mould equipment to ensure continual, efficient production during automated mode of operation.
    • Tundish preparedness and spout cleaning.
    • Launder cleaning and readiness.
    • Casting tunding centers along with the strand.
    • Ready to cast and all emergency valves inspection.
    • Dummy bar sealing as per standard gauge with proper materials.
    • They must stand an hour constantly to monitor the mold level.
    • Smooth start-up, proper lubrication feeding, and slag removal from mould during casting.
    • Understand the breakout reason and to take appropriate action immediately.
    • Good practice of oxygen lancing in Tundish as per shift in charge instructions.
    • Understand all hazardous situations to take appropriate action.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations and earing PPE.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience preferably in the steel and construction industry.
    • Must have the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Good communication skills, with the ability to work in a team.
    • Candidates living in close proximity to Abuja and its environs are preferred.
    • Must be available to resume immediately.

    CNC Leathe Operator

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate CNC roll turning machines, including programming and editing codes.
    • Load and unload rolls, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
    • Monitor machine performance, detecting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    • Conduct quality control checks, ensuring turned rolls meet specifications and tolerances.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
    • Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to optimize production processes.
    • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machines and replacing worn tools.
    • Meet production targets, working efficiently to achieve desired output and quality.

    Education and Certifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
    • Completion of on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs.
    • Industry-recognized certifications, such as CNC certification or machining certifications.
