    Mechanical Senior Technician M/F

    OPERATIONS:

    • Organizes and performs on-site maintenance operations, which are placed under his responsibility.
    • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC).
    • Ensures that the COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during the performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.
    • Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are carried out safely and efficiently and in strict compliance with COMPANY operating procedures and any relevant statutory legislation to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating condition.
    • Manages interventions using the CMMS.
    • Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
    • Monitors the functioning of systems placed under his responsibility,
    • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in this himself,
    • Carries out, at the Supervisor's request, any intervention within his field of competence.
    • Takes charge of the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until the correct operation status.

    METHODS:

    • Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements.
    • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance program and, if need be, suggests improvements.
    • Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts and Suggests improvements and requests modifications.

    Profile

    The following knowledge will be essential for success in this position:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Mechanical Maintenance for offshore oil and gas installations.
    • Higher National Diploma or Higher qualification in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
    • Excellent SAP experience and know-how.
    • Knowledge of aero derivative gas generators and compressors.
    • Fire water pumps, HP barrel pumps, submersible pumps, process and utility valves and Diesel Generators.
    • Participate in all audit activities (SHES, HAZOPS, RCFA....).
    • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.

    DCS Technician M/F

    MISSIONS : 

    • Perform condition monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of Control Systems, IT and communication systems
    • Perform software maintenance of all relevant systems
    • Assist with instrument maintenance and calibration functions
    • Administrate Control Systems, Information Technology and communication systems modifications requests under management of change procedure
    • Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for Control Systems, Information Technology and communication systems
    • Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities
    • Liaise with Control Systems service provider and onshore Electrical & Instrument and Information Technology support

    Profile

    • Experience in F&G monitoring systems

    Security Coordinator M/F

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : 

    • The Security Coordinator (SC) will report to the Security Manager (SM), working within the Security Management Section the organization, and will assist in the delivery of the organization’s security strategy to reduce risk and respond to any threats.
    • The SC will provide active day to day supervision and guidance to the organization’s contracted security guard force ( Civil & Armed Guards), ensuring the effective manned guarding service delivery to top standards.

    MISSIONS : 

    • The main point of contact for the SM, taking a leading role in the delivery of a range of manned guarding services and to provide essential resilience to the Security Management Team during times of increased threat.
      To provide hands on, day to day leadership, supervision and direction to the contracted security guard force and to liaise with the SM on contractor’s management team.
    • To manage the organization’s guard room, ensuring security policy is adhered to and the operational effectiveness of all procedural, physical and technical security measures is maintained at all times.
    • To ensure all official security records and paperwork is administered effectively.
    • Under direction of the SM, to provide an out of hours response to security incidents, assisting in the coordination of security resources and management of any emergency response.
    • To monitor and report to the SM security breaches and security related incidents, and assisting with post breach/incident management.
    • To coordinate and administer duty rosters for the contracted security guard force across the site and mobile patrol teams.
    • To coordinate and administer the activities of armed guards (MOPOLS) on escorts, guard post manning and any other protective services required.
    • To administer all necessary paperwork to allow timely and accurate financial forecasting on behalf of both the contracted guard force and organization, including guard leave, time sheets, overtime and requests for additional guards and other resources.
    • To develop and deliver training to the contracted security guard force to improve personal standards and ensure a robust, effective and coordinated response to incidents.
    • To identify and report faults within security systems to the SM in a timely manner, monitoring remedial action accordingly.
    • To maintain an accurate inventory of security equipment, ensuring all equipment is in satisfactory working order.
    • To provide back-up to SM duties during times of SM absence.

    Profile : 

    • At least 2 years’ experience supervising or managing a large security guard force or 5 years’ experience of providing manned guarding services
    • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to command respect
    • Must have a good knowledge of operating base and environs – Port Harcourt.
    • Able to think innovatively and prepared to make decisions
    • A good knowledge of fleet management and logistics support is an advantage.
    • Must have a good knowledge of IT systems and able to use MS Office
    • Able to write reports efficiently and on time
    • Good attention to detail
    • Able to work out of hours when required.

    PLC Specialist M/F

    MISSIONS: 

    • Direct responsibility for the maintenance, operation and configuration of the hardware and software of the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and associated devices of all Packages within the AKPO Industrial Information System (SII).
    • Partial responsibility for the AKPO Safety Instrumented System,
    • Reports to the ICSS Administrator,
    • Is assisted by the Triconex Specialist.
    • Ensure that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,

    TECHNICAL

    • Maintain, operate, modify and perform routine tasks on the PLCs, HMIs, automation computers and Unit Control Panels (UCP) of all AKPO Packages located in the Hull and Topside of the FPSO as well as the Buoy, all located within the AKPO Field.
    • Carry out modifications on both hardware (input, output, communication cards etc) and software (control and safety logic, sequence logic etc) of all systems (compressors, pumps, oil & gas metering system, High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS), Tank Gauging System (TGS), Power Distribution Control System (PDCS), Telemetry System, machine monitoring system etc), under his responsibility as may be required, requested or directed by COMPANY.
    • Prepare with the ICSS Administrator, preventive and corrective actions and modifications of the systems under his responsibility.
    • Manage and document in technical reports, interventions using the CMIMS and work packs provided by the planning team.
    • Follow up the parameter values and alarms in the concerned systems under his responsibility and perform trouble shooting if required.
    • Control and apply inhibits in the systems as directed and controlled by COMPANY rules and procedures.
    • Maintain an accurate and auditable log of all system faults and inhibits (Short term and long term).
    • Take part in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on SITE,
    • Identify, in the preparatory stage of maintenance works, any sensitive operation and ensure that a proper assessment of the risks involved is carried out beforehand,
    • Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyse them and suggest improvements, as well as problems related to availability, quality and obsolescence of spare parts.
    • Track any backlog of work in area of responsibility and suggest corrective measures to COMPANY and CONTRACTOR to improve the management of the backlog.
    • Review and assure that all Software Modifications and corrective actions are validated by COMPANY and all impacted documentations are updated after implementation.
    • Perform further tasks in the future within the limit of the AKPO SII as may be defined by COMPANY.

    Profile

    • National Diploma or Certificate (ND/NC) or A-levels + 3 years’ further study or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
    • 6 years’ experience in the field of Control and Safety Systems and a minimum of 3 years as a Specialist in Control and Safety systems in the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry,
    • Knowledge of the oil and gas treatment process, installations and equipment.
    • Advanced knowledge and skill in PLC's especially Siemens' SIMATIC Industrial Automation Systems, Panels and HMI's.
    • Knowledge of machine control (e.g compressor control, injection pump control, offloading pump control, turbine control) will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of general instrumentation concepts, field devices (sensors and final elements), instrument loops, etc.
    • Awareness of Emerson's DeltaV Process Control System, Allen Bradley's ControlLogix System and Schneider's Triconex Safety Instrumented Systems are an added advantage.
      - Awareness of SAP CMIMS or similar
      - Awareness of Operator Training Simulators.
      - Possession of good interpersonal skills

    Lead Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer M/F

     MISSIONS: 

    • At the customer site inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up, and collect data on electrical systems.
    • Supervise Assistants, and Technicians in the completion of electrical testing duties.
    • Observe testing, assign work on projects to capable technicians, ensure testing of similar items is consistent across test technicians
    • Track project scope completion and communicate SPIE Project Management.
    • Pre-commissioning and functionally test repaired, rebuilt, and replaced low, medium, and high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers, UPS and Emergency Distribution Generators.
    • Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches.
      Test and inspect low, medium, and high-voltage cable installations.
    • Pre-commission and functionally test power, distribution and desalter transformers, and related equipment.
    • Test and calibrate solid-state and electromechanical relays.
    • Perform relay calibration and power metering.
    • Conduct low and medium-voltage motor control center and contractor testing.
    • Test and commission protection and control systems on high-voltage substations.
    • Sample and interpret insulated fluids.
    • Complete Job Hazard Analyses including but not limited to arc-flash and shock analyses
    • Document test results and complete field reports in accordance with client reporting templates and standard check and test sheets.
    • Maintain strict compliance with regulatory laws.

    Profile:

    • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical testing.
    • Hold a certification and training equivalent to NETA Level II / IV, or NICET certification.
    • The candidate should have experience working in and leading a small team
    • Experience in or capable of managing medium to large-sized (multi-month) projects
    • Familiarity with NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Standards is a plus.
    • Familiar with safety standards, such as NFPA70E Electrical Safety standards
    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical performance deficiencies (e.g. ground fault)
    • Skilled in testing digital relays (SEL 700G or comparable)
    • Must be knowledgeable in lockout/tag-out and hazardous energy control procedures.
    • Familiarization with Megger and Omnicron test equipment, and portable load banks.
