    Construction Accountant

    Job Summary & Responsibilities

    • Provide management and financial accounting support for the organization which includes taking responsibility for the entries on the general ledger
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, stakeholders, suppliers etc.  
    • Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.
    • Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
    • Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
    • Have an understanding of compliance requirements for assigned projects.
    • Run monthly accounting meetings with the construction/project management team to review upcoming projections/billings
    • Investigate the project variances and submit these variance reports to the management
    • Create and submit government reports and tax returns related to the construction project
    • Ensure a smooth cash flow by auditing, generating, and sending invoices promptly

    Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance
    • Must be chartered
    • 5 years experience of progressive accounting experience
    • Experience in job cost accounting and financial reporting
    •  Experience on  Construction Management
    • Extensive experience with QuickBooks and any other relevant accounting softwares

    Electrical Engineer

    Job Summary - Electrical Site Engineer

    • Direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites,
    • Resolve issues and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.
    • Balance project management and engineering tasks ranging from designing electrical plans to monitoring contractors.
    • Ensure that plans and work are completed according to local and national electrical codes.
    • Conduct testing and maintenance on electrical systems, including final inspections prior to job completion.
    • Develop cost estimates for both material and labor at the onset of the construction planning process.
    • Manage the generation, transmission and distribution of power

    Requirements:

    • COREN Certified, other professional membership
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 5 years experience in Engineering & Construction sector
    • Project Management experience/certification
    • Management skills

    Documentation Admin Officer

    Job Summary & Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all design / construction documentation i.e. drawings, specifications, work methods and any vendor documents (installation & maintenance manuals/operation manuals, installation procedures, etc.) are effectively managed and controlled from project start to completion according to company policies and procedures (electronic and hardcopy format) with respect to handling, registration, extraction, numbering, revision control, distribution, archiving, retention and storage.
    • Ensure that quality documentation, such as documents, drawings, and incoming and outgoing registers, is maintained.
    • Establish a uniform document/drawing numbering system while adhering to company norms and requirements
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center
    • In charge of project folder setup, folder management, formulating registries, and document and drawing number allocation
    • Work with Manager to ensure documented information are maintained and preserve from damage
    • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
    • Adhere to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, processes and as required by the Project Manager.
    • Communicates changes to document control procedures or other relevant information to the project team in consultation with the Project Manager / Design Manager.
    • Have basic Admin experience

    Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, IT or other related fields
    • Use of Microsoft Office Suite – working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint  
    • Knowledge of document management process and procedures and systems
    • 5 years experience  
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office systems.
