Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Your responsibilities will include managing the efficient receipt, storage, value-added services, and dispatch of a diverse range of products.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that productivity targets are met and that all warehouse processes operate smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrated work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives
• Extensive understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehousing
• Practical experience with warehouse management software and databases

Other Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage the warehouse in alignment with the company's policies and vision.
• Oversee the operations of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
• Design the warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization.
• Develop, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Comply with all regulations related to warehousing, handling, and shipping.
• Uphold standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
• Manage stock control and ensure accurate reconciliation with the data storage system.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND with 5-7 years experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing company is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation to purchase and delivery.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure the best value for the company.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks in the supply chain.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance their skills and performance.
• Implement and manage procurement software systems for better efficiency and transparency.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar leadership role within procurement.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software, data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance.
