    Quality Control Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our projectcycles, from research and design to construction / fabrication, installation, and evaluation.

    Job Summary

    • We require the services of a qualified Quality Control Manager for the supervision of various Civil, Mechanical and Electrical projects.
    • Successful candidates will work with the Project Managers in ensuring that thethe project withinthe quality requirements and within budget to the client’s satisfaction.

    • This primary responsibility of the Quality Control Manager is role is the day-to-day running of the Quality Control department in terms of overseeing and supervising of the Quality teams both in-field and in-office, allocating work, assisting with all internal and external client interaction and communication, ensuring accurate and timely capturing and compiling of Quality reports, ensure accurate feedback on Quality is given to the Field team, monitoring and ensuring 100% data quality is delivered to client. Key Outcomes
    • Ensuring effective and efficient workflow of Quality Assurance.
    • Support Quality HOD in ensuring optimum productivity and development of Quality Assurance team.
    • Build and sustain key operational processes and systems to ensure the smooth running of activities in the Quality section.
    • Assist with the set up and implementation of all new systems and procedures in the Quality department.
    • Control planning and allocation of projects to the Quality team to ensure Quality standards are met within the given timeline.
    • Assist with the Quality management from “out of field” to “pass-through” dates and ensures timeous feedback / intervention when required.
    • Direct completion of quality reports, interviewer reports and project status reports.
    • Assist with the implementation of new innovations, procedures and processes.
    • Liaise with Field teams, Project teams, Support team and the Quality team re: project planning and post Field / Quality requirements. 
    • Supervise Field trips and pilots when required.

    Requirements Capabilities

    • Holds minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from well recognized International or relevant University.
    • Previous experience (Minimum of 10 years in the Oil and Gas Sector) of Quality Assurance experience
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power BI.
    • Working directly with interviewers supervisors.
    • Exposure to fieldwork systems and knowledge of Field Processes.
    • Exposure to & knowledge of questionnaire design, sampling.
    • Knowledge of the ESOMAR code of conduct.

    Instrumentation Engineer

    Job Description

    • We are looking for skilled Instrumentation Engineers to join our team. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation, and evaluation.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform instrumentation P&ID mechanization.
    • Prepare instrument data sheet and instrument material ttake off.
    • Prepare specifications for instruments and for instrumentation installation.
    • Check key Engineering documents according to internal procedure.
    • Participate in 3D Modeling and F.A.T activities.
    • Coordinate subcontracted discipline engineering activities and controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
    • Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation requisitions.
    • Provide input to discipline Lead Engineering or harmonizing designs and project management methodologies.
    • Participate in the modification of company work flow and technical standardization.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience in Instrumentation Design.
    • University Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Systems Engineering Understanding of engineering standard code & regulations.

    Additional Information:

    • Good computer skills: Proficient in MS office suite, AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS.

    Senior Project Engineer

    Job Description

    • We are looking for skilled Project Engineers to join our team. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our projectcycles, from research and design to construction/fabrication, installation, and evaluation.

    Job Summary

    • We require the services of qualified Senior Project Engineers for the supervision of various Civil, Mechanical and Electrical projects.
    • Successful candidates will work with the Project Manager in ensuring that the contractor delivers the project on time, quality and within budget to the client’s satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers at the site, including coordinating their work to achieve the project’s objective.
    • Motivate and train team members as necessary and evaluate their performance against established KPIs.
    • Ensure compliance with the company’s code of conduct and policies and ensure maintenance of a high level of discipline among team members.
    • Act as the responsible resident project engineer on assigned sites or sections under the supervision of a project manager.
    • Liaise with the contractor, client and other stakeholders as necessary and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
    • Attend meetings, and document and communicate resolutions in a timely manner.
    • Proactively identify risks and issues as well as effectively manage change at the site.
    • Implement work plans and manage work schedules while ensuring that timelines are met.
    • Plan and ensure that project and worksite deliverables are successfully achieved.
    • Review all works carried out by contractors to identify inconsistencies and suggest reasonable corrective measures where necessary.
    • Ensure the use of appropriate methods, systems and techniques in the performance of the job with strict compliance with regulations and standards.
    • In line with contract specifications, ensure quality, adequacy and appropriateness of materials and equipment used for all works to ensure an acceptable standard of delivery.
    • Ensure strict implementation of approved drawings/designs and recommend appropriate modifications as necessary, and ensure that all works carried out by the contractor bear the requisite company’s approval.
    • Ensure requisite tests, including field and laboratory tests and other tests are properly carried out and documented. • Ensure that inferences and conclusions from analyses of test results are applied accordingly in delivering the job.
    • Provide timely standard reports of work including ensuring all requisite documentation is maintained.
    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision making always regarding the company’s resources.
    • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the area of responsibility.
    • Promote the company’s values and philosophy in the performance of your services.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
    • 15 years of demonstrable experience in construction/Installation supervision.
    • Vast experience in highway/railway projects is an added advantage.
    • Possession of engineering license COREN.
    • Experience working in engineering consultancy is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in the use of relevant engineering software, tools and equipment to deliver high-quality error-free work.
    • Rich experience working on a variety of structures including roads, dams, bridges, culverts, drainages etc.
    • Focus on safety.
    • Strong working knowledge of relevant constructions/engineering laws, codes, regulations and documentation requirements.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/designs and technical reports and recommend reasonable modifications.
    • Ability to make technical calculations involving the application of engineering principles.
    • Certification in project management is an added advantage.
    • Effective team and personal leadership capability.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to apply technical knowledge.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across different levels as well as to effectively and professionally express ideas to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
