    Senior Accountant

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations and strategy in Abuja. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting executive decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MSc is a strong advantage.
    • Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (ICAN) required; ACCA or other relevant certifications are a plus;\\.
    • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

    Skills:

    • Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and Nigerian tax regulations
    • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
    • Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling expertise
    • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

     Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial health
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws, IFRS, and other relevant financial regulations
    • Lead internal control initiatives and risk management strategies
    • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture
    • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for business growth and investment decisions

    Business Development Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and services.
    • Support the development and execution of business strategies.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
    • Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide administrative and operational support to the Business Development Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • 3 years minimum relevant experience.
    • Masters is an added advantage.
    • Strong interest in business development, sales, and emerging market trends.
    • Basic understanding of market research, client outreach, and customer relationship management.
    • Willingness to research new industries and explore innovative methods for improving business efficiency.
    • Familiarity with digital tools for presentations and reporting.
    • Exposure to or interest in proposal writing, business presentations, and partnership development.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and an eagerness to learn new business and AI-powered tools.

    Officer, Legal and Corporate Services

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide legal support on corporate governance and compliance matters.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business operations and transactions.
    • Assist in company secretarial duties including board meetings, writing of minutes and corporate governance duties.
    • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage risk and ensure legal compliance.

     

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Law (LL.B and B.L)
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
    • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of corporate/commercial law, contract, and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
