    Site Reliability Engineer

    Job Summary

    The role involves managing the availability and capacity of core applications to ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities include providing technical support for these applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing the setup and integration of new applications within the company’s environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of the organization's application infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are built with reliability and performance in mind.
    • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement optimizations to improve system efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, configuration, and monitoring of systems and services.
    • Conduct system capacity planning and provide recommendations for scaling resources to meet growing demands.
    • Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application performance.

    • Strong experience with on-prem infrastructure and cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
    • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
    • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking concepts.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

    Education

    Academic Qualification(s):

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Professional Qualification(s):

    • Service Management Certifications (e.g. ITIL) are an advantage

    Experience (Number of relevant years):

    • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar SRE or infrastructure engineering role.

    Job Summary

    The role involves developing documentation and technologies required for the design and implementation of IT applications and services, including hardware, networks, platforms, and middleware. The individual will collaborate with information, application, and business architects to align organizational resources toward achieving strategic goals.     Responsibilities

    Strategic Perspective

    • Participates in the strategic decisions about the development and implementation of Interswitch’s products.
    • Valuation of requirements and systems in a bid to provide underlying technology to support the organization’s IT demands.
    • Breaking down bottlenecks in all technology implementation of the organization with clear and unambiguous designs.

    Operations

    • Provides IT infrastructure for all applications and IT services.
    • Proactively planning based on the current infrastructure to meet future IT needs.
    • Actively participates in the release of products according to stipulated timelines
    • Providing schematic design for ideas and products.
    • Measurement of performance of newly deployed systems and system upgrades.
    • Design and select medium complexity storage, data center, network, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice.
    • Collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals

    Verve Digital Executive

    Job purpose:

    To expand and accelerate the growth of New Business issuing revenue in partnership with Other Financial Institutions (MFBs, MMOs, PSBs, Fintechs and Digital partners. To collaborate with other cross functional teams, regional partners, issuers, and service providers to enhance the strategic fit, the commercialisation framework, the positioning and messaging of New Business issuing products. To engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of New Business issuing services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.

    Responsibilities:

    Customer Relationship Management / Account Management

    • Implement relationship management plans for complex existing customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer organisation and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
    • Manage ongoing relationships with identified customer segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses based on customer input.

    Sell Customer Propositions

    • Develop sales propositions and compelling value propositions based on new and existing opportunities, pro-active sales campaigns, and general sales engagement that focus on growing market share, market acceptance and the number of customer touch points.

    Promoting Customer Focus

    • Develop internal marketing plans and work collaboratively with other departments to improve internal relationships and build strong external customer relationships.
