Job Summary
The Credit Control Officer is responsible for managing the company\'s credit and collections processes, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts, minimizing credit risk, and maintaining healthy customer accounts. The role involves monitoring credit limits, following up on overdue payments, reconciling customer accounts, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve cash collection performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices and outstanding balances.

- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies or payment disputes.
- Review customer creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.

Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years\' experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Experience within the logistics, transportation, courier, FMCG, or service industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of credit management, collections, and account reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead, Receivables & Collections to oversee the Company\'s accounts receivable and collections function. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving timely collections, minimizing outstanding debts, improving cash flow, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and leading a high-performing collections team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Collections team to achieve collection targets and optimize cash flow.
- Develop and implement effective debt recovery strategies to reduce overdue receivables and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Monitor customer accounts, reconcile outstanding balances, and ensure timely follow-up on overdue payments.
- Review customer credit limits and support credit risk assessments in line with company policies.

- Prepare and present weekly and monthly receivables, aging, and collections performance reports to Management.

Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, ANAN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of receivables management, credit control principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting systems.

The role is responsible for managing brokerage teams, building strong relationships with regulatory authorities, optimizing clearance processes, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all customs brokerage operations, ensuring timely and compliant clearance of import and export shipments.
- Develop and implement brokerage strategies to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Nigeria Customs Service regulations and other applicable trade, port, and government agency requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, shipping lines, terminal operators, freight partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee customs documentation, tariff classification, valuation, duty assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor operational KPIs, cargo clearance timelines, and customer service performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Identify and mitigate compliance, operational, and commercial risks associated with brokerage activities.

- Minimum of 8–10 years\' experience in Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, International Trade, or Logistics, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, tariff classification, valuation, and trade compliance.
- Proven experience managing customs clearance operations and engaging with regulatory authorities.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or ERP systems.
