    Financial Controller

    Our company seeks a Financial Controller who will be responsible for month end and statutory reporting, also will be responsible for treasury, tax, financial planning and growing of business partnerships.

    Core responsibilities will include financial reporting, business budgeting and forecasting, business development projects, treasury management, risk evaluation and business analysis.

    Functions/Responsibilities

    • Responsible for financial planning and analysis.
    • Forecasting future financial performance.
    • Preparing and analysing of budgets.
    • Tracking, reporting and analyzing budget variances.
    • Reviewing the company’s financial statement to ensure they are accurate.
    • Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
    • Providing accurate financial reports to management.
    • Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
    • Presentation of month-end reports to the management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow.
    •  Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
    • To establish and maintain an adequate market for the company’s securities and to maintain adequate liaison with investment bankers, financial analyst and shareholders.
    • To maintain adequate source for company’s current borrowing from commercial banks.
    • To maintain banking arrangements, to receive, have custody of and disburse the company’s monies and securities.
    • To direct the granting of credit and the collection of accounts due to the company, including the supervision of required special arrangements for financing sales.
    •  Developing organizational financial strategy.

    Qualifications

    • Years of experience 7-10years
    • Chartered Accountant

    Fund Accountant

    Our company is looking for a Fund Accountant who will be responsible for providing clients with accurate and timely accounting services in line with clients’ business needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Delivering accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting to clients by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling and other ad hoc reporting for funds
    • Ensuring that team members comply with regulatory policies, operating policies, procedures and guidelines in completion of Fund Accounting processes
    • Ensuring service level agreements, memorandum and client delivery summaries are maintained
    • Acting as a point of escalation for complex client issues

    Skills / Competence Requirement

    • Prior experience in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of fund operations, including valuation, accounting and payment procedures.
    • Well versed in the MSOffice suite.
    • Strong team player, organized and possess a high attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university. Qualified Accountant

    Minimum of 5 years treasury experience in a bank or asset management company

    Risk Analyst

    Our company seeks a Risk Analyst to analyse and assess the risk in the organisation and design and implement strategies and processes which mitigate threats to the successful delivery of the organisation’s corporate and business plans and desired outcomes.

    Functions/Descriptions

    • Designing  and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
    • Assessing risk by analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that can affect the organization
    • Evaluating risks by comparing the estimated risk against the given risk criteria with the aim of determining the significance of the risk
    • Establishing the level of risk the organization is willing to take and ensuring that adequate controls are in place
    • Delivering regular risk analysis reports to Executive Management with actionable plans for avoidance or prevention of possible threats at all levels
    • Creating business continuity plans to limit risks
    • Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the organisation
