    Category Manager (Mobile)

    Job Description

    • This job entails planning, coordinating, implementing and overseeing the sales strategies to boost business performance, across the mobile phone category.
    • The key role is to develop category strategies, in line with the organizational Product strategy chart, while monitoring its implementation, and ensuring category growth and profitability.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Develop a phones and mobile accessory category strategy, (broken down into achievable quarterly, monthly and weekly timelines), in line with the organizational Product strategy chart.
    • Liaise with the Sales Team to propose and evaluate category-centric sales and advertising activities, across Offline and Online sales channels.
    • Monitor category-specific business performance, traffic, and user trends to generate actionable category assortment insights.
    • Leverage syndicated POS, E-commerce, and retail data to develop a deep understanding of the quickly moving and evolving category dynamics.
    • Interpret data to deliver objective category insights, analysis, and thoughts that offer disruptive category growth opportunities.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • BA in Business Administration, marketing, or a similar relevant field degree in business administration
    • 3-5 years’ work-related experience as a Category Manager in ICT & Supply chain industry.
    • The successful candidate must be highly analytical, self-starting and thrive in a high energy environment.
    • Sales and result oriented with ability to manage budgets
    • Team player
    • Experience in a retail or key account management environment with a proven track record of delivering results.
    • Experience in category management is a strong plus.
    • Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.

    Retail Store Manager

    Job Description

    • This role takes ownership of the assigned retail branch within the organization to ensure exceptional customer service, a proactive sales environment, and a profitable operation that focuses on expanding existing relationships, developing new business within the local market, and increasing total market share.
    • Will also ensure that company standards and procedures are followed and always maintained.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of the sales and revenue targets for the assigned branch.

    • Identify and communicate, stock and branch-specific requirements.
    • Responsible for conducting daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes and reports.
    • Ensure that all stock-on-hand reports are accurate and always kept current, bin cards vs pastel count vs physical count must match.
    • Resolve stock discrepancies when they arise within the specified time.
    • Communicate and resolve customer claims and complaints in an efficient and professional manner, escalation to top management is always required.
    • Communicate staff requirements and shortfalls.
    • Assist with daily staff and shift planning.
    • Maintain monthly attendance at respective branch
    • Act on unsatisfactory performance and behavior from direct subordinates and involve top management in all disciplinary actions and procedures.
    • Any other duty as required by the line manager in line with the post.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma in Business or related fields.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry, and experience in ICT industry is an advantage.
    • 2 years of experience in holding management positions in the retail industry.
    • Demonstrate leadership, team building, and management skills.
    • Proven sales and business development skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage income and expenses within an area of accountability.
    • Demonstrated ability to train employees in customer service, sales, operations, and product knowledge.

    Retail Inventory / Logistic Officer

    Job Description

    • Responsible for monitoring all inventory transactions and movements.
    • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the cost of inventory.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Receive, store and issue goods.
    • Record and track stock levels.
    • Maintain a close eye on any stock taken from the shop floor and always collaborate with Product Replenishment.
    • Maintain daily stock records using manual or computerized systems.
    • Check supplies against invoice and purchase orders.
    • Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location.
    • Compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory.
    • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.

    • Revalue inventory at the new approved standard rates on a periodic basis.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and 4+ years of experience in an inventory role. Having an inventory experience in a retail store is very essential
    • Understands the principles of FIFO , LIFO etc.
    • Have an excellent use of computer and office technology.
