    SAP Functional Support Analyst - Controlling

    ob Summary

    Dangote Cement Plc is looking for motivated professionals with SAP experience in the Finance module. The resource(s) would join our team of professionals to support the daily SAP operations of the business and SAP implementation projects.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Functional support for SAP FI modules.
    • Manage multiple simultaneous SAP projects and Tasks from conception to completion. Requirements gathering and scope definition, together with various business stakeholders.
    • Plan and coordinate resources and activities to meet business requirements and project completion dates.
    • Work with end-users to provide system support to the business while sharing knowledge and understanding.
    • Gather business requirements and convert them into development design/programming specifications.
    • Perform functional testing, create documentation, and conduct end-user training in conjunction with other members of the SAP Core team.
    • Work with both internal and external design/implementation teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge the gap between design, content, and technology.
    • Provides analysis for and directs activities of SAP FI resources as determined by and in conjunction with the senior management team.
    • Manage end-to-end integration needs with the respective modules and other applications.
    • Definition of innovative functional solutions to meet business process requirements in SAP and/ or other supporting application systems.
    • Collect & analyze customer requirements on the following:
      • Business processes and parameters.
      • Assist in the mapping of master and transaction.
      • Determining reporting requirements Standard / Customized SAP Reports, Determine, evaluate, and build customization requirements – WRICEF (with proper FS).
      • Design, develop, and manage Roles and Authorizations.

    Education and Work Experience

    • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
    • 3 - 6 years of experience with relevant SAP working as a consultant or SAP FI Support Analyst.
    • Experience in business application system development methodology and business process re-engineering.
    • Minimum of 1 end-to-end implementation and hands-on experience in SAP FI support.
    • Experience in New G/L, AR, AP, Asset, Financial Closing, IFRS, Taxation, Integration with Payroll, Statutory reporting, Financial Planning and analysis, and Consolidation would be an added advantage.
    • Relevant experience in S4 HANA would be an added advantage, with a clear understanding of the areas such as FSCM, Re-FX, and delta changes from SAP.
    • Strong leadership skills with customer interfacing experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and problem-solving.
    • Demonstrated ability/experience in the implementation of major systems applications.
    • Strong understanding of user exits would be an added advantage.
    • Ability to interact with and present ideas and updates to senior or executive-level management.
    • Basic ABAP debugging know-how would be an added advantage

    Assistant General Manager, Mechanical (Hydraulics Specialist)

    Location: Obajana Plant, Obajana Plant, Nigeria

    Job Summary

    A Hydraulic Specialist is responsible for Operation, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting of hydraulic systems for FLS Coolers, IKN Coolers, Loesche VRM and OK Mills. They utilize their expertise in fluid mechanics, physics, and engineering principles to analyze and develop sustainable solutions for bulk material handling equipment (Stacker and Reclaimer), kilns clinker Cooler hydraulic systems. This role plays a crucial part in the planning and implementation of various hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability. Exposure of Cement Plant Equipment Stacker Reclaimers, Rawmills, Kilns Coolers and Cement mill General Maintenance.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operation and Maintenance, Trouble shooting of  hydraulic system Problems, including, Stacker luffing/hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic hose, directional control valves and proportionate valve, Cooler Hydraulic Drives, VRM Hydraulic System.
    • Conducting feasibility studies, including trouble shooting and assessments, to determine the viability and potential impacts of hydraulic faults.
    • Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop comprehensive hydraulic designs and engineering plans in ensuring equipment reliability and optimization.
    • Identifying and evaluating potential risks and hazards associated with hydraulic systems, and implementing appropriate safety measures.
    • Performing hydraulic calculations, simulations, and modelling to predict the behaviour and performance of equipment’s.
    • Overseeing the construction and installation of hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
    • Conducting inspections and assessments of existing hydraulic infrastructure, identifying maintenance or repair needs, and providing recommendations.
    • Conducting research and staying updated on the latest advancements in hydraulic engineering technologies and methodologies.
    • Managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure plant success.
    • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with Hydraulics Training/Hydraulics Special Course  or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
    • Above 15 years of experience in cement plant hydraulics Operation, maintenance and Trouble Shooting.
    • Proven experience in hydraulic engineering, preferably in the design and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
    • Knowledge of study of Hydraulic Circuits /hydraulic Notations and Symbols relevant software and tools used in hydraulic engineering, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft office and SAP Module.
    • Strong mathematical and computational skills.
    • Familiarity with environmental impact assessment processes and regulations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in project management and working with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, and control systems within the manufacturing industry.
    • Proficient in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
    • Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
    • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations pertaining to automation systems.
