Job Summary
- To support enterprise IT strategy consolidation, roadmap alignment, OT cybersecurity framework development, SAP roadmap tracking, and strategic initiative harmonisation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Group IT Policy Catalogue and review calendar.
- Consolidate BU and functional requirements into a prioritized Group IT roadmap.
- Support periodic refresh of the Group’s IT Strategy.
- Conduct IT maturity assessments and gap analysis.
- Support development of OT Cybersecurity framework (with OT Lead).
- Coordinate SAP improvement roadmap development and execution tracking.
- Identify structural improvement opportunities across BUs.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and benchmark frameworks.
- Prepare strategic briefing materials for leadership.
- Support cross-BU integration of strategic initiatives
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience

- B.Sc. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- MBA or Master’s in Strategy, Technology Management (advantage)
- Exposure to Digital Transformation certifications (advantage)
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

The Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading all sales and marketing functions for DPL. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, expand into new markets (domestic and export), and ensure the company’s competitive position in the industrial packaging sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets for PP woven bags.
- Identify and develop new customers across sectors.
- Manage key accounts and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop the export business by identifying distributors, agents, and end-users in targeted regions.
- Prepare and review sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication, visits, and technical support.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules in coordination with production and logistics teams.
- Address customer complaints promptly and ensure high standards of after-sales service.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote PP woven products such as laminated bags, BOPP printed bags, liner bags, FIBCs, and custom-printed sacks.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, product catalogs, and digital content.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
Coordination & Operations
- Collaborate closely with the production, quality control, and supply chain departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and meet required specifications.
- Provide input to R&D and product development teams for innovations like UV-resistant bags, anti-slip coatings, or recyclable options.
- Implement efficient sales processes, reporting systems, and CRM tools.
Qualifications, Experience
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in sales and marketing within the PP woven bags, FIBC or related industrial packaging industry,
- Proven experience managing key industrial accounts and leading a sales team.
- Strong understanding of woven sacks manufacturing processes (extrusion, weaving, laminating, printing and stitching).
- Experience with both domestic and export markets preferred.

Location: Obajana Cement Plant, Obajana, Kogi State Nigeria
Programme Overview
The training programme will combine behavioural screening, safety training, classroom instruction, simulations, workshops, and intensive field practice to prepare participants for effective and safe operation of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
The training duration is 6 months.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following:
- Secondary School Leavers with minimum of 5 Credit pass including English and Mathematics (WAEC/NECO)
- Technical college graduates with national technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB or Trade Test I, II, III.
- Age limit must be between 22 to 35 years old.
- Valid means of identification
- Good physical and mental fitness
- Strong safety awareness and discipline
- Willingness to undergo intensive training and assessments.
Previous mining or equipment operation experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
